Awesome, but I saw a few minor mistakes. Sometimes Sonic jumps higher than in the game and I'm talking about normal jump and jumping from this balancing plank in Star Light. And also in final boss this squashers shake a bit before launching to crush Sonic. This is very minor thing but I played STH so many times that I can see those kind of things. But overall this is very well made animation, keep up good work, you're great ;)

Now, these would've made the bosses of Sonic the Hedgehog a whole lot more interesting. I know these games, at the end of the day, were mainly about the level design and the speedy, physics-based gameplay, but what makes a good stage (or in this case, Zone) all the more fulfilling is a good boss battle that tests your skill. I like how you managed to take the Egg Pistons' Pinch Mode in a different direction than that of the Egg Pistons mk. II from Sonic Mania.
For anyone wanting to fight bosses with a pinch mode, (And with the music) play sonic the hackable, it's inspired by sonic 4 but the creator of the rom hack actually made the rom hack seem like a fully fledged game.

I love this idea. I have some ideas for a Sonic 2 version. Drill Tank: Goes faster and jumps nearing the middle of the area. Chemical Dropper: A giant robot (Much like the Sonic and Knuckles final boss) appears and starts shooting different kinds of Chemicals, with every different chemical having a special method of hitting you. Ruin Traps: Eggman swings the hammer in a full 360 and the trap shoots 3 arrows from 3 of the 4 dart traps. Catcher Eggman: Attempts to grab Sonic and smash him against the ground at full force, causing an instant death. However, it can be easily dodged and can be escaped, but does huge damage.

A small feedback at 0:52 is that the rings physics seems different from the original game, but that is something which doesn't affect the final product. Please do a video like this for every Sonic game :)
These bosses were epic, especially the labyrinth and starlight zone ones. The labyrinth one in particular had a real element of danger, falling into that pit, like Dr Eggman was actually a threat for once. But then the “Sonic Saved Knuckles Snadwich” was outright ridiculous and made me lol 😅 Great vid 👍
If I had to fight that version of the Spring Yard Zone boss I would throw the controller at the wall. Other than that, these are all really well designed and seem a lot like what Sonic Team might have actually done if they'd thought of it.
lol the Star Light Zone pinch zone one reminds me of the second act boss from Rocket Knight Adventures, where the train lobs similar orbs at you while you chase after it. Great video though, so talented!
That would be an awesome Final Zone boss. That being said, you probably should've truncated the start of said boss, and almost definitely not put up a failed hit round, as that boss is too slow to be faithfully animating without a cutaway in my opinion. Honestly I would've truncated the start of all bosses after Green Hill Zone, but Final and Starlight are two of the main reasons why.
DanDomin8 I honestly don't care on how repetitive video game themes are (akin to another TH-camr called "Curiosity Man"). If it's a good theme, then it's a good theme, no matter how repetitive. Wily Capsule in Mega Man 4 is a great example of such!

If I had to fight that version of the Spring Yard Zone boss I would throw the controller at the wall.
Other than that, these are all really well designed and seem a lot like what Sonic Team might have actually done if they'd thought of it.

lol the Star Light Zone pinch zone one reminds me of the second act boss from Rocket Knight Adventures, where the train lobs similar orbs at you while you chase after it. Great video though, so talented!

That would be an awesome Final Zone boss. That being said, you probably should've truncated the start of said boss, and almost definitely not put up a failed hit round, as that boss is too slow to be faithfully animating without a cutaway in my opinion. Honestly I would've truncated the start of all bosses after Green Hill Zone, but Final and Starlight are two of the main reasons why.

DanDomin8 I honestly don't care on how repetitive video game themes are (akin to another TH-camr called "Curiosity Man"). If it's a good theme, then it's a good theme, no matter how repetitive. Wily Capsule in Mega Man 4 is a great example of such!
