I can see a lot of Gwen in early Gaga, Katy Perry, Charlie XCX and Fergie especially, whose debut album "The Dutchess" came out one month after the release of this song.
This song has always reminded of me of naive trafficked girls being paraded in a line in front of male purchasers. I'm suprised no one else thinks this way, but I'm with the critics on this one.

This was predicted to be Part II to "Hollaback Girl" since she had re-teamed with Pharrell on the joint but it failed to crack similar chart positions as the 2005 single. Either way, the beat is hot & definitely kept things moving that slow year of '06 when vast majority of radio content sounded like filler. Gwen is an instant club hit-making machine!
