@@lovin3258 I don’t know about wall mart, I’m not from the US.
And it will take an extra 4-5 sec to start after your current multimedia system starts.
It never stopped working in between for me.

Just got this and works perfectly in my Peugeot 208 2019. Connects within 30 secs and have had no lag or anything. Only thing the price for it is to expensive. Early days but so far mine works flawlessly.

I bought this for my MitsubishiL 200 pick up managed to connect a pair with my phone within two minutes Ive had it connected three days and from what I can see it works 100% ? Time will tell how reliable but at the minute I’m very impressed.
I got this amazing device. Its worked on my 2020 toyota corolla. I dont need to unplug my phone everytime whenever i go to drive thru just to scan points through my apple wallet. Cable no more.
I'm thinking of buying a 2020 Toyota Corolla. I'm glad to see this works. Please don't think this is stupid. I am confirming that your car didn't come with wireless CarPlay. Only the wired version. The car I am looking at also comes with a wireless charging pad so this will be perfect!!! For now I plan on using this in my 2014 Sentra with an aftermarket Pioneer Nex Unit with CarPlay.
Cindy Kenward 2020 corolla SE upgrade package, has wireless charging pad too. But carplay didn't come with the wireless version. Well i guess most of the CarPlay comes with the cable thou.

CarPlay2Air is the exact same device as CarLinkIt, just different branding. I tried both units and found that the instructions are word-for-word identical, and even the packaging is the same (except for branding). I also found that neither one of these units works on a 2019 Chevy Equinox with Infotainment 3 (v509). When you plug in the dongle, nothing happens. The radio doesn't present the bluetooth pairing screen and the dongle never create a bluetooth network. I tested them on a friends car with aftermarket Kenwood, and the both worked, so I guess the Chevy Infotainment 3 system is just smart enough to realize that it isn't a phone being plugged in.
I bought this back in June. It is now obsolete as 2.0 came out and there are no more updates available for this particular dongle. Also, when you update your cell phone's software, it takes longer and longer to connect as well as many issues with GPS function. I have tried contacting the company but they don't care. They said no refunds. Just remember, this technology outdates it's self just as you need new cell phones every so many years. If you want great wireless carplay, buy a wireless carplay head unit for your vehicle. It fires right up, every time.

I just got this today and it worked straight away, then once I turned the car off that was it. It won’t reconnect. Every time it starts to reload and says connected then before the CarPlay displays on the screen it disconnects. I’ve tried ‘ forget this device’ and stared again numerous times and still no luck. I’ve tried to upgrade the firmware but it won’t load. I’ve tried their 24/7 contact but they won’t reply. Looks like I’ve blown $261

Beware when purchasing this directly from the vendor. The item comes from China. I ordered one back in May and never received it. The company that sells it is not helpful. Now I had to open a dispute with PayPal to get a refund.

Does the blue bar around "phone" go away if you use the touch screen? And can you still use the tune button to interact with carplay without using the touch screen?

I have tested it with all the beta so far and it works ok. It has sometimes has delay in audio but in the civic you just switch to the right turn camera and back to CarPlay normally fixes the issue.

An unsatisfactory experience in every way. Slow, slow fulfillment. Item does not work. “Support" says that my vehicle is not supported, although it appears on the website as supported. Website cites 24/7 support: no such thing. Item eventually arrived from Rochester NY, but two separate return addresses were provided, one in China and one in Lithuania. This appears meant to discourage (COSTLY) return. Awaiting refund with very low expectations.
