did you know you can craft a dirt foundation and collect dirt from that? so you don't have to go back to the ring lake to get dirt again... just build a dirt foundation and use the shovel on the foundation to get more dirt :) infinite dirt glitch :P
Finally finally a notification. I've been waiting weeks to get. You're back. That was a freaking, great intro. Enough of these comments time to watch a video. Happy day.
Wow! Great tip, I had no idea. I could have saved a ton of time haha, but we did need the seeds anyway. I also learned that if you craft a dirt foundation, you can use that for infinite dirt.
Very cool. I am so glad you're back in Icarus. I kind of only really play one game until I've exhausted it. Took 18 years for Eve Online. I'm working my way through Missions on Prometheus, atm, but I'm looking forward to doing playthroughs in all the Biomes of Styx and Prometheus. I'm glad you're doing a playthrough in the Styx desert. I get so much from watching your playthroughs. Thank you.
Happy to be back! I thought about that, but I wanted to make use of all the exotics I worked for on prometheus. It also lets us get into the mission grind faster!
I love Styx, my main base and build is there, in the middle of the great river region. I’m currently making a raised, along the cliff, concrete road to expedite movement to one part of the map, I’ve finally reached the point in resources, after years of playing, I’m going Roman Empire, ahaha. Until the last few missions get added to open world, then I can finish up and re drop to Olympus to finish missions there. Then Prometheus
@@dannyrothko it is, I love Styx, to me the most fun in open world, just for the scale of it, oh yeah? Hmm, will have to get some screen shots, I’ve barely begun work on it my main base centrally located in the great river area, near the main, first central drop point and right now I got it starting a bit south west, and running that direction generally after the main hook that goes more south. Is attached to the cliff side, as to minimize points it can be attacked, and destroyed, causing collapse. Bit even with all tier 4 and electric deep liners, takes so much time to build, especially with work and life, and some other games from time to time. I plan on it being wide/good enough to run buffalo with carts, in time, right now I’m making it passable by foot. Or riding a single mount, and have some concrete storm shelters along the way. Plus I finished upgrading the tops of all built up areas from stone to concrete, my farming/green house, stable and courtyard area, so many different things taking my time and attention and resources even when in Icarus.
I am working on a mod for "Naked Caveman" drops. I love the build up. I love playing with random people from the community. I don't like starting with nothing, then having people bring the entire space station down. This mod makes that a non issue
Thanks for watching as always! Hope to see new Icarus content on your channel once you get that upgraded PC. And yes the new Prometheus zone will definitely bring me back
This is the first time I've seen anyone set up in a cave. Some people seek shelter in a big rock that they hollow out. But what is stopping us from simply digging into the rock face of any old cliff and making a starter home there?
Using the cave is a really easy way to get a fast start. Unfortunately there are only certain rocks that are "mineable" in icarus, most of the big mountains don't have mineable rock faces.
@@dannyrothko Thank you for your reply. Your playthroughs inspired me to get the game. Unfortunately it won't run properly on my PC, so I guess you can also take credit for my eventual aquisition of a new computer.
I was originally only planning on playing through Prometheus but decided to try and do all the missions on all planets! They just released an update that added new operations to Styx so I thought it was good timing
That's great to know! I still needed to grab all the seeds but in the future if I need more dirt I will do it that way, or use a dirt foundation. You can farm infinite dirt from a crafted dirt foundation as well.
Question, what graphics card do you play on? I play on a 6950 xt and im STRUGGLING with mad stuttering on this game, from the gameplay Im guessing you are using a Nvidia card not an amd?
its mostly your VRAM and RAM. if you have 32GB or even 64GB of RAM and more than 8GB of VRAM your game "SHOULD" run just fine. when i play on my open worlds, i check the task manager to see what percentage of my memory is being used and its always maxed out. the game has to compute a lot of stuff and it needs memory and when it doesnt have enough the game stutters and lags to keep up
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 I appreciate the response, I have 32gb ram and 16gb vram, but maybe my 32gb ram is only single channeled not dual channeled, could that impact performance?
@@tobiaslinneweh7239 that i do not know, it could also be affected by your CPU, older systems like mine dont have a lot of power to operate a lot of programs running at the same time meaning your CPU core power, more cores your cpu has more task you can do in the background. TBH, the game could be poorly optimized for late game builds. thats why it stutters so much. i like to build grand designs so i lag a lot
No mod, all you need to craft is the orbital exchange interface. Call down a request pod, then bring your animals close to it. When you open the pod you can select your animals and deliver them to your station.
Hi Danny, I just saw I wasn't sub'd as a member anymore.... Was there a glitch or did update drop people ? Anyway, I renewed it just now.... Hopefully it doesn't kick me again.... Any thoughts on how that happened ? Anywho..... Good to see you again my dude 🤘🤘
Thanks for your support as always! I'm not sure what happened, in my dashboard it says you are still a member so I'm not sure. Maybe there is an option to disable auto renewal?
There isn't really a proper order, you can start on any of the maps if you'd like (assuming you have the map DLCs). The recommended progress is Olympus > Styx > Prometheus
So happy to see you do another series! 🎉
Happy to be back!
"We've got some work to do"-oh yes! I've missed to hear this phrase. Good to see you back in action :)
So much work to do! Glad you're back for the new series!

OMG I did not know that haha, thank you for the tip! I'll definitely be doing that moving forward.
Simply thank you. for bringing us back this amazing game. for the brilliant narration and video editing. Careful preparation of content
Thanks so much for watching!
Can’t get enough of this game is so enjoyable
It is a ton of fun!
So hard to find good, new, Icarus playthroughs. You my friend just earned yourself a new sub. :3
Thank you for subscribing! I hope you enjoy the series.
Outstanding! Glad to see you back!
Glad to be back! Thanks for watching!
Been waiting for this!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching! We got some work to do
Finally finally a notification. I've been waiting weeks to get.
You're back. That was a freaking, great intro. Enough of these comments time to watch a video.
Happy day.
Glad you liked the intro! I'm hoping to try a bit of a new style of editing in the new series.
Love the cinematic Intro!
Man the cx-400 is my go to in like 90% of my runs.
It is a life saver! Grinding for those electronics is a breeze
Oh you don't know how happy I am to see this. I loved your Prometheus hard playthrough and literally just finished watching it.
Thanks so much for watching! Styx is going to be fun
You know funnily enough I just started a Styx open world a few days ago. And now so has Danny
Awesome! Perfect timing for the new mission releases.
he’s back, he’s back, he’s back!! yaass! 👍 been craving this
We're back!!
Oh boy here we go again
Let's do it!
In some of the oasis and places that have grass and fern on the floor, you can actually get dirt, even in the desert. Great video btw

Starting a new prospect is a great way to refresh that gameplay I've found! Hope you enjoy playing and enjoy the content
Can't wait to see more Grounded gameplay! I like Icarus, but Grounded just feels different.
More grounded is coming too!
nice to see you back on Icarus, I thought you were going to start Fresh like you did with Prometheus series

Styx is an awesome map! A giant concrete road sounds like a huge project, I’d love to see it

Nice Intro! Welcome to Styx!
Welcome indeed! Looking forward to the new chapter.
Good to see you back brother! I fear the new Prometheus zones will bring you back though

Oh yeah! It's going to be a fun one.
@@dannyrothko i already know when u said "we got some work to do"
Hey! Just FYI, you can ride a MOA through the cave there between the grasslands and Desert :)
Ah really? I tried but it kept getting blocked, maybe there is a sweet spot I didn't find.
Thanks for the video i looking forward to the new season
P.s Are you planning to make a series for Lord of the rings Return to moria ?
Thanks for watching! Hm, I'm not sure about Return to Moria, it does look interesting though!
So a fresh start... after completing Prometheus. It is more like "The Adventure Continues in Styx".
That is true! It is a fresh start on the map from scratch, but we are bringing in our hard-earned items & level 60 character.
Great video!
Thanks!
Love your playthroughs, but why did you do Prometheus before Styx? I had Styx for quite awhile before the DLC came out.

Why are the waterwheels oriented like that?
i was wondering that too lol! the stream is perpendicular to the waterwheels :D haha
😂 I was just lazy and placed them like that because it was easy to access their inventories. I'll fix them for the next episode!
Niiiice🎉
