Awesome work as allways 😍can't wait to see them painted. I love the vareity of them they will look so awesome painted up and next to some spiders. Now you just need a creepy mirkwood display and You'll have another beautiful jawdroping army.
Great conversions. Another solid source for disorganized well muscled folk - North Star's Tribals for Ghost Archipelago/ Frostgrave. Great source of wyrd bits, and takes gobbo parts well.
As always, fantastic video (although oddly enough, the HobGrots were my favourite part of the Dominion box - I love those little weirdos!) I always think LOTR is quite limited in terms of conversion possibilities compared to Sigmar and 40K, but your videos always open up new pathways in my brain, great stuff. And a huge congrats on the baby Uruk on the way!
Yah I like a lot about them... think it's really just the helmets that throw me. As for lotr I think the big mental block is seeing past the more strick "movie" aesthetics as once you get past that there's some wild interpretations out there
@@AndurzTalksHobbies Yep for sure - the films were my first exposure to LOTR, and nostalgia aside, I do honestly think the design work is genuinely incredible. The whole trilogy is up there with Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back in terms of the production design and design languages for me. Whereas yeah, go back to the Bakshi film and there's obviously room for interpretation in the text, it's just for me I genuinely love the aesthetics of the Peter Jackson trilogy and it's hard to not see that when I think of LOTR
Aw man, awesome work! While this style isn’t exactly my cup of tea, the amount of work, blood, sweat, and tears you put into this is commendable and amazing. Though, just today some of the Oathmark Orcs (not the Goblins) were teased! Looking at the sprue, I think you’d have an absolute field day with conversion and kitbashing!
Yah they're definitely a bit more out there than usually :P but what? More oathmark stuff! You have a link to pics, can't find anything with an initial google
Yah I love kitbashing/converting models. It all started back when I got tired of having "clones" in my army with the same pose, so everything I do now has some kind of conversion to make sure all the models are at least somewhat unique
I love these conversion videos, It might be the most fun part of the hobby for me and I love to see what others come up with. You’ve done a great job! What did you use for the bricks on the bases?
Thanks! And yah it's uo there as one of my favorite parts too. And for the bricks I like to use cut up buts of egg cartons as then tend to have a nice rocky texture to them
I politely dissagree in regards to the supplement model, the way GW does it for AoS and 40k is just ridicilous and becomes imposisble to follow with all of their FAQs and erratas, MESBG on the other hand has had a total of 8 supplements. in total we now have 10 FAQs and erratas, I personnally think that with how GW treats MESBG, its great, there is enough content to keep the game alive and its not impossible to follow. look at 40k as it is now, they literally had to release a small PDF explaining which books are and arent useable in the current edition, now that is what keeps people from joining the game. in addition, MESBGs current edition is truning 4 years old this year, 40ks current edition is 2 years old, and will be replaced sometime next year, I personnally expect MESBG to stay for another 2 to 4 years like this, and then als get a new edition, every faction will have been expanded with a supplement, currently me and some other ppl in the MESBG discord are speculating that arnor, angmar and rivendell will be featured in the next supplement
Man you are the orc master, I am jelly of these skills. As much as I love the GW classic set I really need some more variety.
Thanks! And yah... there' just something absurdly satisfying about building orcs, almost therapeutic

Dude. These orcs are amazing😲.
Thanks!
These are awesome! I have a bunch of those Hobgrots hanging around, now I have something to do with them 😁
Rules bloat is the exact reason I'm still playing from my original A5 soft cover rulebook and a PDF copy. Everything in one book! Beautiful! 😄
Love it :P

Thanks man! And absolutely. For now I think my dol guldur one will have to pull double duty but... one day :P
@@AndurzTalksHobbies yea that one will work too, but i just wanted to implat theatidea in the back of You'r mind🤣🤣
Your creepy orcs would all be absolutely perfect for Forbidden Psalm! I think I'll be using these videos for character ideas later!
Huh, never heard of that... googling now!
Congratulations!
Thanks!
That intro gave me a good laugh 😂
Also, if you don't call your boy Lurtz after this, I'm going to be mad 🤣
-Sam
Lol! I don't know if I could do that to another human being let alone my future son :P but we do have a few names in the can... do I guess we'll see!
@@AndurzTalksHobbies could make it a middle name lol

Oh yah I've looked at those before and been real tempted, also the weird snake people set looks fun

Honestly I only have started only kit bashing orcs as it makes them mine and adds so much more character then just store bought models
Also love the video gonna go kit bash some more units rn

@@AndurzTalksHobbies Thank you! I’ve been trying to find something with a nice texture, I’ll give that a try!
Have you ever thought about making a Turnip28 army?
It might be right up your alley and would get you away from GW for a while.
Oh, 100%
I've actually bashed out some test models for one already, just need to get around to making more and painting them up
@@AndurzTalksHobbies Nice!
You could also look into Sludge. It's similar to Turnip28 but less mud and roots, and more knights with guns.
