If you don’t like the pay then get an education or work to improve your skills. Retail employment is typically a minimum wage job. Bring a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from home if you’re hungry.

@@joytoyouandme4593Ah, the timeless refrain of "just get an education" as if it were a magical, one-size-fits-all solution to systemic economic disparities. Allow me to illuminate the glaring oversights in your statement. First, the presumption that education is a universal panacea ignores the significant barriers many face-financial, geographical, and even systemic. Not everyone has the luxury of pursuing higher education, let alone the guarantee that it will lead to better pay. Degrees do not automatically translate to economic security, as evidenced by countless graduates drowning in student debt while working jobs that barely require their qualifications. Second, your suggestion to "just get an education" disregards the essential nature of retail and other low-wage jobs. These roles form the backbone of our economy, ensuring the flow of goods and services you undoubtedly rely on daily. Yet, the workers performing these tasks are often underpaid and undervalued, not because they lack education, but because of systemic inequities that prioritize profit margins over fair wages. Lastly, consider the irony of your stance: by dismissing the struggles of retail workers and implying their plight is self-inflicted, you perpetuate the very cycle of inequality that makes fair pay such a contentious issue. Rather than condescend, perhaps advocate for systemic changes that elevate all workers, regardless of their educational background. In short, your argument lacks nuance, context, and empathy-qualities essential for meaningful discourse. Do better.
Just keep looking for a better job. Stealing just cost me and you and all of us more money to put food on our tables. Is that fair to the rest of us? Get a conscious.. ( be happy you had a job)..

Then yall wonder why we have to check ourselves out.
1:06 “I’m reiterating again that what happens here stays here”…and on YT, apparently. 🤷🏻♂️
We should probably enjoy this deluge of bodycam videos while it lasts. To me, it seems there’s at least a chance that courts will eventually start ruling that this kind of thing can’t be posted online, due to the potential effect on people’s lives.
And, while I don’t want these videos to dry up, I suppose I’m not entirely unsympathetic to those who want that to happen. I’m certainly no “criminal coddler”, but I suppose we need to do what we can to give these people a chance to rehabilitate and put their pasts behind them (at least as and when the legal system permits that).
There's alot of social pressure to be financially successful beyond our skill. The truth is, even if most people came into wealth they couldn't attain by themselves, they'd lose it in a matter of months anyway due to poor decisions. That's the whole point of earning things, you learn the value of it
“So I’m about done” lol ohhhh so scaryyyyy the cop is about done
I'd be thrilled to work, not the ability to steal because you think you're entitled.
The young lady was wrong for stealing...But the officer was Full of S@@t....He was trying his best to pin her with more charges....He knew he was wrong about her with caring her friends id...So he called the sergeant
Plus when you a male officer frisking or patting down a woman....I thought you suppose to use the back of your hand to pat the women down....People for God Sake Stop stealing Its CAMERAS EVERYWHERE WE GO....smh
She thick all she had to do was start and OF page
Independent women playing in the background lol
The song in the background said “ stuck inside these four walls, sent inside forever”
I don’t understand how tf they don’t be knowing better when they see the shit allllll the time 😩
That blue shirt though.........
Of course she's being honest...the footage too clear.
Most retail theft is internal.
imagine losing your job and having a record over $105. ignorance is no excuse for the lack of common sense. ffs, she works there and knows about the cameras and security system and she still decided to become a criminal. who wants to bet that purse is stolen too.
complete lack of morals and self control.
Usual Suspect. Why even hire them?
They have X-ray cameras in Walmart they can see straight through you. Don't steal. Somebody will see it. And bust you. All thee time😂
AND to top it off, she an employee
The old saying is 2 wrongs never make one right.she knew she screwed up and admitted to it smart cookie. Please don't do this to any more employers ok. There's other jobs out there.stealing proves nothing
she needs help from employment specialist after she got arrested for stealing
Well look at Ole humpty dumpty sitting on the bench, what in the world is she doing.
I used to work with this lady that would give me free food at the deli and then one day I came in and they told me they fired her because they caught her giving away free food. And they also fired this other guy I think I don't know I think they just caught him getting the food. Thank God they didn't look at the cameras and see that I got some free food cuz s*** they would have fired me too. I was making $7.25. The corporation was pick n save if you ever heard of them, play pay their employees $7.25 an hour and expect them to be able to live on that without taking some food for free.
If you don’t like the pay then get an education or work to improve your skills. Retail employment is typically a minimum wage job. Bring a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from home if you’re hungry.
@@joytoyouandme4593 there are ways around it we just go in the back and get the food back there there's no cameras back in the back so we can do that especially in the freezers that's where we can get a lot of good food. If you don't like that well tough s***
Look at the thing on the right though? Not judging but who pays her food bill? That is heart attack in motion dude.
At least she's apologetic.
I'm sure it's sincere and she'll never ever ever do it again
I think there's things we all would like to have that we can't afford so we just don't take things but we have to ask for them if we cannot obtain them then the best bet is to leave those things there it's not worth it jail time and loss of job with a Micheal kors bag sad
I want a lamborhini and I didnt go to college and i'm not rich. So what am I supposed to do? How can I earn the money for it? There is no way but to steal for it. Giving up on dreams is not an option
@@Kite166sad part is, this is the truly the mentality of you people. Yall think if you want it yall are entitled to it.
This is also why I stopped using self checkout. I’d just assume wait on a cashier
Yeah, I may start back waiting in those long cashier lines. I'm too stressed out at self checkout. One day I thought a lime didn't ring up and I danged near passed out. 🤣😂😅 Y'all ain't gonna see me sitting in that office over a skipped lime. No sir.
Walmart does NOT play !!!!!
No judgment.
I wish her well.
We have all made mistakes at her age and beyond.
