    Had a fitting for the Paradym🔸🔸🔸and the G430 LST earlier this year! While the Callaway was huge, if I lost it I couldn’t keep it on the planet! The Ping was the one that ticked ALL the boxes for dispersion, flight and length! First game out with it, didn’t miss a fairway and continues to perform! Guess it was the right choice!!

  • @bocelle8341

    You made a good point. In the studio, you can hit ball after ball and get into a groove. On the course, you hit your tee shot, then an iron or two, then a putt or two, Then maybe a par three and no driver, You only get 14 or 15 non consecutive drives. So I go for consistency over distance

  • @Hunter-zp5hd

    I like the Ping looks. Matte finish is nice. No issue with turbulators. I don’t even really notice them. I still have a G400 Max. Now the G400 Max isn’t super long, but it’s locked into the fairway for sure. Wouldn’t mind trying out an LST but I’m not spending $600 on a driver. I may use the driver 12 times a round. I putt twice that amount. Makes more sense to get the putter that you really have confidence in and make putts with. Then get a wedge that you know you can chip with. Those 2 clubs far outweigh the benefits of getting a driver that goes 10 yds farther.

      G425 LST. Tried the G430 this year after getting fitted for the previous LST a while back, performance gains were near zero but it sounded more like the competition... You can still get custom fit for a g425 most places. I'm not the best golfer, kind of a baseball swing that over draws from time to time, the Max didn't help that the LST is actually a consistent fairway finder for me lol. You can probably get a G425 LST with a premium shaft and still walk out the door spending less than the new model.

    A few years ago I was gaming the Epic Flash and put it in a head to head against the G425 when it came out. While my distances were about the same, the G425 dispersion was so much tighter. Fast forward to about a month ago. I won a free driver fitting at a local shop. We saw my G425 numbers and found that I had too much spin. I ended hitting the G430 LST, Paradigm triple diamond, & Titleist TSR3 - all fitted with a Ventus blue shaft. Long story short, my best numbers and dispersion were with the G430 LST and I've got a new driver in the bag.

    Love both - played Epic, Rogue & now Paradym as well as g400, g410 & g425. Paradym is the best I've ever had. I'm now down from 22 HCP to 16/17. Slower swing speed at 90 mph getting 230-260 off my standard Paradym, A lot is about Sound, matt vs shiny, looks (turbulators or not) & consistency/dispersion vs distance for me. My Paradym with the 50g Blue Kai'li shaft looks superb. Can't go wrong with either driver though. I hit fairways 90% of time with it so perfect for me.

      90 mph X 2,4 = Average 216 is your carry . This is a mathematical formula to get the carry ( distance ) with a driver . So I tend to be very sceptical about your personal story.
      Plus hitting fairways at 90% of the time as per PGA historical data is for a player having a score in the low 70´s.

      @matthewthompson6329 ปีที่แล้ว

      @James_Robinson_Golf1 strange I know given the fact it’s the highest moi out of the LS drivers, but just couldn’t get on with it. Spin for me was too low off the toe (causing hooky dippers) and too high off low and heel strikes. I compared most of the latest drivers head to head on quad on numerous occasions and tsr3 was always winning on maintaining ball speed (also the highest) and spin consistency. TD was quite forgiving also, and was always a close second.

    To the average golfer (high handicapper or just occasional social player), does the newest driver with all the bells and whistles lead to better distance or at least a substantial difference to older model clubs? I have a 10 year old Adams driver and a 4 year old Cobra driver and took them to a golf store the other day to see if there's a difference in performance to some of the newer models (not the aerojets and stealths, more mid price drivers) and for me (with a swing speed of around 95mph, there was basically a difference of a few metres in the simulator for me.

    Golf is not about the best shots we hit. As everyone can hit great shots, it’s about making the shit ones less shit and less often. Keeping it in play will score better and win more matches. Would rather hit 14decent drives in play, rather than 2 great, 10 ok and 2 lost balls. Therefore, for me slightly more forgiveness wins every time.
