I think the octopus is the most amazing creature. Nice to see a new post here, I follow you in Instagram where you are a lot more active.
    Edit:
did you happen to notice that the Google Doodle for October--05 was an octopus teacher for teachers day.

i actually get disgusted with people who do that. an octopus is about as smart as a cat. you wouldn't eat a cat would you?

Thats a great offer for Meet and Greet! Teaching little people the awesome abilities of octopus. Visiting again from Big Island of Hawaii. Ive been on Pacific or S.China Sea all decades of old life here, developed respect for these amazing animals a long long time ago. My chore now is to bring some enlightenment to S. Pacific, SE Asian nations & communities beyond the fisheries requests for fishermen to count and sex their catches. The cephalopod fishing industries practices have made minor advances employing more sustainable practices, Id prefer seeing less dependance on these animals for human food source! Pls help.

Gotta b honest, didn't like the way the child was slapping the octopus. Dont want to offend anyone, just being honest. Even the lady said not to hit so hard. I get kids dont understand but id say to the kid.. "would u like it if someone slapped u like that?" was njoying the vid until i saw that. Stil like this channel, was just a little off putting.

I agree. Adults can't rationalize with children. He should done the same to kid and done it gently to the kid, so that the boy could see both. We should protect the animals, unless they are really into that kind of stuff.

@@eugenetswong omg friend 😀 ty so much 4 your comment. I feel so strongly bout these sorts of things. I totally agree 👍 with u btw. The best way to learn is to experience. The kid seemed to get annoyed because he wasn't getting attention. Hes obviously learnt that negative behaviour equals attention. The parents r ultimately to blame. They should do something soon coz he will continue to hurt animals because they r pure and dont speak English. Neway u have a wonderful day friend 😀

PsYcOpiNk - not my child, and definitely not in a position to reprimand him on camera. Don’t think it’s any deeper than “he is 4 and got excited” I interact with kids all the time and this age is very reactionary.

So are the females bigger than the male which is why on most octopus videos they're mostly female. Funny you name el pulpo male names.
Edit: honestly male or female, they look to be about the same size.
Paul from Germany is my favorite octopus.
*People, don't like my comment please it's stupid lol*
