I work in a Sheet metal shop. We do a lot of Copper work..when annealing Copper your supposed to get the copper to a dull red before quenching it. We use water to quench with a small amount of Sodium Bisulfate or( pool acid crystals ) in the water. It cleans the scale off. It is safe to use.
well using a soft mallet to resist marking, but the ancient anvil will, so damaged is the face. Also when cleaning, bare fingers leave acid marks. Agree with @keithboard84 re annealing.
Very well done. Can you glue NeoDynum magnets on each end of your copper bracelet ? And witch one and witch size would be the best and what would be the best technique to add it on the bracelet (To add a magnetic therapy to the item) ?
I just bought a Magnetic copper bracelet at Jean Coutu (Drug Store) and a way to add a magnet on each end , is to add it with a copper cap or cover ? I don't think that using glue alone would be sufficent enough to hold on or be stable enough. But the end caps would give it more resistance and stability.

Thanks for the tips I will have to try again

Thanks for sharing this video. Which type of copper tubing are you using here? Medium weight?
Yes it was medium and I used 1/4 " tubing.

Do you make these for sale ?
I'm booked for the next few months on knives but after that I will be taking orders again
@@ForgedEdge Thanks for replying . I’ll check back in a few months then.
What are you dipping it in
After I heated the copper I dipped it in water. The water is a weird color because there is rust in the bottom of the container
❤
Nice vid not a clue !

When you're polishing shouldn't you be wearing gloves
Yes I should have wore gloves. Back when I made that video I had never done it before and I didn't think about it
