  • Looking to maximize your hash production? Follow this step-by-step SOP to prepare trays, eliminating excess water for an efficient freeze-drying process. This solventless method for Harvest Right or any freeze dryer quickly dries trichomes from ice water extraction (IWE).
    You can purchase the sieve in the video here: sambocreeck.com/collections/s...
    By employing this innovative method, you'll effectively remove excess moisture from your freeze-dryer trays during hash loading. Our specialized mesh screen facilitates water drainage while maintaining the ideal water content necessary for optimal lyophilization. Furthermore, this technique breaks up the patty, enhancing the surface area and expediting the drying process.
    Don't be fooled by appearances! Although the patty may seem dry in the video, it's actually sufficiently moist, and the footage doesn't fully capture its true state. Nevertheless, the method effectively eliminates excess water.
    Laboratory comparisons have proven that this approach significantly outperforms the traditional method in terms of water removal speed. Take your hash production to new heights with this cutting-edge SOP.
    Special thanks to our friends at Friendly Family!

    Thanks for the enlightening video 👌 question, do you think it is possible to do the same procedure but then putting the bubble hash to dry in a No Frost fridge (controlled temperature and RH / 4-6°C and 20% RH) for basically air drying
    Cheers from Italy ;-)

      To a degree freezers lyophilize. We call this freezer burn. In fact we have data on the amount of water lost on our trays by simply sitting in a normal freezer. So you can remove some water this way but unlikely most of it.

    So I have a question that 25micron screen you are using is it reusable or is it a single use? I have found some that was 250$ for a 10yard roll but that would only be enough to cover my trays for two runs so a lil pricey if it’s only single use thanks guys great content!

    Any recommendations on avoiding patty collapse? This technique really suits my workflow but has not really been working that well for me vs traditional straight on the tray collection methods. I can’t seem to get the wicked material to dry correctly at all. I understand the theory is sound it just doesn’t seem to be working for me causing some substantial loss. I’m not sure I’m leaving enough interstitial spacing for proper sublimation

    • @SamboCreeckFiltration
      @SamboCreeckFiltration  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you pouring a wet patty or scooping like normal? You need a flat surface for everything to dry uniformly. Your FD settings or total dry time may be a factor.

    Why don't dry ice

    • @SamboCreeckFiltration
      @SamboCreeckFiltration  ปีที่แล้ว

      Can elaborate on the question? The process is not freezing the hash, it's drying. The freezing is so we can turn water from a solid to a gas directly in the lyophilization process.

      @@SamboCreeckFiltration I think what he what asking was why don't you use dry ice and trim in a 70 to 120 micron shaker bag to separate the trichomes without having to add water in the first place. No freeze-drying and no water needed.
      I must admit that I never cared much for the water-extracted stuff. Too much popping and sizzling. I don't notice this at all with the dry ice method.
