Great topic! A lot of newcomers make costly mistakes with their credit cards. I've learned to automate the payment of my credit card bills. So I set a specific amount using bill payment to go to my credit card weekly to take care of small routine purchases. When I make a large payment with my credit card, I make a separate payment for that within 2 weeks. This practice has helped me grow my credit score.
