- Let’s Play Stellaris with the newest DLC, Apocalypse, and the absolutely massive 2.0 Cherryh patch! Apocalypse adds massive Titan capital ships, neutral marauder empires, planet destroyers and much more! We’ll be playing as the Drakonian Imperium, a life-seeded empire that starts on a 25 tile gaia planet, but will only be able to settle gaia planets, ring worlds and habitats. Focusing on our inward perfection we will try to unlock as many traditions as fast as we can to become a truly tall empire. Join me!

Yeah, you are right! Damn, gotta remember to turn that off!
And i thought in the first episode... "Clusters is fine...." What why play with clusters... Well i guess Horath likes the challanges.
I dont know how people play without the no clustered mod which spreads empire evenly across the galaxy, especially for a peaceful empire its a pain to immediatly get thrown into a conflict before being well established.
i already enjoy the 2.0 update without ever having played it :DD

I really like how the early game is all about making decisions. Just seems so much more engaging.

Wait...can you even complete the habitable world survey early game with Life Seeded? XD
Pranjal Bisht The survey doesn't require colonization of the various people planet types. So, life-seeded has no impact.
Ah, I thought a planet needed to have 20%+ to be habitable. So all of the colonizable planet types count towards habitable worlds?
Pranjal Bisht Yeah. Even though it's not habitable by your species, it is habitable. It pretty much covers the 9 major classes and the two special classes, tomb and Gaia.
Well that was downright bad luck. At least the Great Old Ones aren't so great anymore.
Considering the incredibly good luck we have had during the rest of the series, I'll gladly take it...

I thought watching this would quell my excitement but it just made it worse. I envy you for getting to play it already but i don't envy your position. Being boxed in isn't fun.

Hi Horoth, does the black hole have a theater effect on combat! If so, it could be extra good for defense since you could build a station specifically designed to fight in that system. I know pulsars have special effects, but I don't know about black holes.
According to developer diary it messes with FTL, increasing the time to charge emergency FTL and reducing chances for ship to disengage. I also think that in one of streams devs mentioned it gives malus to sublight speed, but it might be some other galactic terrains and I misremembered that.
Yes, the black hole does reduce the chance for them to disengage and increases the time before they can emergency FTL. A nasty system to attack if you have to, a great one to defend if you own it...
