DIY'S are the best but i think the issue the city has is really the cost of land and the benefits the city gets back from stores contributing to the economy skateparks are dope but most of them are free so the city kinda takes a hit when it comes to generating revenue when their giving up valuable property that is only increasing with time if the city did need to build something skaters would just ask for a new park everytime so the city would resort to prefab parks which wouldnt be as fun

I'm probably a bit late to the game , but one thing I see or don't see at this DIY is a lack of tagging and general graffiti if things are kept CLEAN at places like this their chances of being left alone is better 😊

Don't skate big shit alone. As someone who's been incapacitated at a diy spot alone, and had to give 911 directions to the spot, it's not worth it.
