She was 14 here. One video of Diana's, in my sight, is a total masterpiece the like of which I don't remember ever seeing before in my long life. It's a must see for anyone that loves singing with unending emotion. The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life. This is exactly the Diana effect, yes Dimash is great, yes there are other amazing singers on this world but there is only one Goddess of vocals and her name is Diana Ankudinova.
Here she is at 15 years old singing not in her native language conveying every single feeling better than the original singer of this song.
Vocal coaches are as flabbergasted as everyone else at first they can not believe what they are hearing then they try to explain this phenomenon and they still are short of words at the end they just surrender to her powers.

Diana has an extremely rare voice type she is a dramatic contralto it is the lowest deepest darkest voice type for a female but she has train her voice to sing in the Soprano range. Diana very often leaves us speechless and in goosebumps. Yes, she is built differently than most of us, longer thicker vocal cords, larger pharynix and resonators to produce a tone. Igor Krutoy, who. composed Olimpico and Ave Maria for Dimash, took Diana under his wing, giving her an apartment in Moscow so as that she could move there and study at an elite music school.
A few of your followers have suggested her incredible performance of "Wicked Game," when she was 15 (in a talent show where Igor Krutoy is one of the judges).

If you want to get a better sense of her superb theatricality - she is a born actress - I recommend the performances she gave when she was 14 of Rechenka (in Russian) and, at the same talent show, Its a Man's Man's Man's World (in which she gives James Brown a run for his money).

Diana, a unique singer, songwriter and actress from Russia was born in May, 31. 2003 in the Far East of Russia. She is 1,65m/ 5,41ft tall.
Diana didn't have a happy start in life. The woman who gave birth to Diana did not love her child, cruelly abused him and tried to drown him.
The 3 year old Diana was found at a bus stop with a broken collarbone and taken to an orphanage. There she finally found love ... from Irina Ponik, a massage therapist. Taking a young child into the family was not easy for Irina. Her son was already 20 years old, daughter Nastya 17 years. Start all over again and be a mom again? Yes!!! Diana came into a poor but loving family at the age of 5 and she got the best mom that could happen to her.
Diana spoke badly, cried a lot and was still very scared but she all sing songs from cartoons. The doctor recommended singing lessons and so, Uncle Sasha discovered Diana’s talent and perfect pitch, and singing teacher Elena Kazantseva shaped her voice and confidence. During 2008 to 2012 Diana sang around 40 songs, including at competitions.
Her mom, Irina Ponik, turned her whole life inside out and started all over with a new motherhood and many new professions - seamstress, manager, vlogger… admirable.
Everything that has to do with Diana's singing training, performances, competitions, looking for sponsors is organized and coordinated by her mother Irina Ponik. She took extra sewing courses too. Since then, she's been sewing all of Diana's stage costumes, because all of these things consume the family budget.
Irina accompanies her daughter on trips and captures her life in photos and videos with the persistence of a visionary. It is admirable how she promotes her daughter's career, teaching her how to fly but makes sure that she is down to earth Remains. Diana impressed with her talent in over 50 national and international competitions. Her confidence grew, her voice continued to develop ... until one day she was asked to compete in more distant competitions so that other children could have a chance to win.
In 2012, Irina's family moved to her hometown of Toglyatti, much closer to Moscow. Diana lost her fear that the woman who bore her would kidnap her.
In 2017 Diana went to Moscow, to 'The Voice Kids'. The next day, a huge scandal erupted on social media. A door had closed, but a new door opened...
In 2018 and 2019 Diana entered a competition 'You are Super and won twice. That project is unique in the world, an international TV- competition especially for adopted and orphaned children.
The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to TH-cam and soon Diana had millions of fans.
The project producers help the finalists to start their studies and promote their creativity. Diana won a scholarship and Igor Krutoy (Russian music titan, billionaire, juror and sponsor) gave her a small apartment (37m²/ 398.26 ft²) in Moscow. There she lives with her mother and grandmother and was able to start her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskoy. (She died of Covid-19 in October 2020). Her Russian fans helped her and found a new voice coach: Alexandra Pismennaya (Sasha), who was a student of Prof. Donskoy. She and Diana are on the same wavelength and even became friends.
Diana has something primal, mystical, but also sensitive and sensual in her voice and she lives her songs. She also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her range C3-D7). Her voice has natural polyphonic overtones and sometimes specifically an undertone = sub harmonic. (You hear the voice an octave lower than Diana sings. It's not that you hear a clear tone straight away, it's more that you feel like there's something in Diana's voice or the song has been edited. Not everyone can hear that.)
Undertone singing is a singing technique that belongs to the main category of overtone singing in which the vibration mode of the vocal cords is modulated to produce sounds that are below the singing tone.
In contrast to overtone singing, these tones are not overtones (i.e. integral multiples of the fundamental, but integral divisors of the fundamental, so-called sub harmonics.)

The break of voice made Diana’s voice even darker and deeper. She has mastered this time very professionally and has worked hard to bring back the lost high notes and has expanded her vocal range, currently from C3 - E6. 2020 Diana graduated from high school with honors as an external student a year earlier as “normal”, applied to music colleges and was rejected (examiners suspected she had a voice defect). But she is normal and healthy. Now she is a student at the university, at the legendary Russian State Institute for Theater and Variety Arts (Juilliard similar to GITIS).
In October 2021 Diana was invited to her first adult contest on Russian television 'The ShowMaskGoOn'. She won!!!

It all started with this song. Diana herself said it's her calling card. That was Diana’s first song in the unique competition 'You are Super' 2018 (age 14).
In 2018 and 2019 Diana entered a unique competition and won twice. This project is unique in the world, an international TV- competition: 'You are Super', especially for adopted and orphaned children.
The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace (this video). Diana's performances were uploaded to TH-cam and soon she had millions of fans.
The project producers help the finalists start their studies and encourage their creativity. Diana won a scholarship.
Igor Krutoy, here as a juror, gave her a small apartment (37m²/398,26 ft²) in Moscow. There, in the small flat she lives with her mother and grandmother and was able to begin her vocal training with the best teachers.
