    It is real gold....greetings from Serbia....and about Ukraine (correctly UKRAINA)....you have got a Serbian region in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Republic of Srpka called KRAINA...see the similarities...UKRAINA-KRAINA...I can't recall in what century exactly... Serbian families from the region of KRAINA went to that part of Russia...of course they were called by Russian Empire in those dayz to come and live there with good offerings...and their role was to guard that part of the Russian Empire borders...we were allways great warriors as long as we know for ourselves...so the dots are connected...all the best.

      OMG! Thank you for the explanation. That does connect the dots quite a bit for me. You don’t know how much that means to me! Have a wonderful day. ❤️

      Actually, you are wrong. What today is Krajina in BiH was at the time under Turkish occupation. Serbian families that went to part of Russian Empire that is today Ukraina (Lugansk, Slavjansk, etc, so called Slaviano Serbia, or New Serbia) came from the eastern parts of Habsburg monarchy Military Frontier during 18th century. They were free soldiers-peasants, coming mostly from Banat , Srem and Bačka regions, which today is Vojvodina part of Serbia and were settled in the empty land as barrier against Crimean Tatars. Probably most famous of their descendants were general Michail Miloradovich who got fame during Napoleonic wars and contemporary writer Vladimir Voinovich (you should read his novels about private Ivan Chonkin, Russan version of the good soldier Svejk.) Today, in Ukraina, especially in eastern regions (Lugansk, Slavjansk, Donjeck) there are still a lot of toponims named after Serbian towns (Subotica, Pančevo, Kikinda, etc.) from where Serbian settlers came. Krajina and Ukraina, both in Serbian and Russian language means border land, frontier land.

      Serbia has krajina. Negotinska Krajina! Worldwide famous for its wine, and a birthplace of most important Serbian composer Stevan Stojanovic Mokranjac. Every September, since 1966. a prominent music festival "Mokranjcevi dani" is being held there. I'm from Belgrade, but I visit prestigious festival regularly.

      You mentioned that your grandmother's roots are in Ukraine. In english, Ukraine is associated wih the territory of the former Empire of Russia, then Soviet Russia- Soviet Union, or perhaps you confused it with the territory of the serbian Krajina- for example Republika Srpska? U said: Ukraine is not far away from Serbia". If it is the first one, then the distance from Serbia is almost 1000 km (921 km, or about 500-600 miles). 😊 Anyway, welcome and enjoy your stay in Serbia. 😊 🇷🇸

    The church has 49 bells of different sizes. Every hour on the hour, they ring the Hymn to Saint Sava. Beautiful music.

Prorocanstvo kaze da ce ljudi u svetu posle pakla dolazeceg izabrati duhovni mir i utociste u Pavoslavlju?...Najverovatnije ce ih Pravoslavje spasiti...

    It is wrong to say that DA is a Russian word. It is also a Russian, but it is Ukrainian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Croatian, Slovenian and even Romanian. Our language couldn’t developed from Russian as Serbian language is older then Russian. They both developted from Proto-Slavic and many words are still the same or similar.

    • @TheBaraful
      @TheBaraful 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed as serb.Basicly slavs had proto-slavic common languge.And there are quite similarites with each other language of slavic origin because of common root ,even some same words in differen slavic languages,or they sound same but mean little bit different.

    Everyone repeats like parrots that this is a Byzantine type of church, but this is still a pure Serbian style that originates from the old faith. And Serbs are not Orthodox, we are pravoslavni. No one notices the row of swastikas above the altars, which are a sign of the old faith.
