Astrosphere at Funtown U.S.A. is the world's best scrambler. Set inside a dome, this is a visual and audio spectacle. ELO's Fire on High is blasted as projections and lasers are cast onto the ceiling. The media works together flawlessly to make a memorable experience!
The visuals are non-copyright. The music is owned by Electronic Lights Orchestra.
Last time I went on this I cried and was all smiles because I was reminiscing. Such a good ride.
It's amazing.
Wow...I haven't been on this ride since the early 90s. Brings back a lot of childhood memories of spending my summers in Maine. This was one of my favorite rides at the time.
It still holds up.
Really underrated scrambler, one of the best
World's best scrambler.
This looks like a ride to add to the “must do” list!
It's a must do. The production quality is amazing.
Unironically one of my fav rides on earth.
It's amazing.
So my friend made me go on this ride and I LOVED IT IT WAS AWESOME NGL I THINK WE SCREAMED LOUDER THEN THE MUSIC XD-
Love the experience.
I see my precious spooky faces.
Yes, they're cool.
I got scrambled by this yesterday. Gave me a headache but ELO was stuck in my head for hours.
Sorry it gave you a headache. I love this ride.
@@CanobieCoaster I'm not really a Scrambler fan. My sister loves them though--this would be her favorite ride, absolutely (well, she loves wooden coasters too so Excalibur would be up there).
Pretty cool ride I love the music and the light show I give it a 10 out of 10 for that one and a thumbs up for you bud
I love this ride
@@CanobieCoaster I bet you do
Maybe they have that song because the ride is a literal “electric light orchestra” heh
Maybe!
My wife has stories of the old "Gyrosphere" ride at Seabreeze, and this is damn near the closest I've ever seen to that!
Is it really worth a 6+ hour trip, each way, just to ride a single flatride? Time may tell ...
They also have a good wood coaster and great dark ride.
It is! They also have some other cool rides there, such as the wooden coaster 'Excalibur' and the massive drop tower 'Dragon's Descent'! I used to go to Funtown Splashtown USA all the time as a younger kid! They have a decent waterpark, too!
More dark ride flat rides!!! More!
I agree.
Cyborg Hyper Drive at SFNE is one.
Old reviews of this suggest that it's been through a lot of changes--it sounds like it spent some time with the visuals and maybe even the ride motion toned down to make them less scary, but it seems like now they're back up to full throttle.
It had a major refresh a few years ago and it's in top form.
Too much white light, better when it’s darker and the ride mechanism needs to be underneath for unobstructed view of the domed ceiling and projections.
I get the idea though and could be great with some changes ❤
Nice idea
I absolutely love it as is. I think the projections are easy to see. I like how the projectors are mounted to the ride, so they travel with you
@@CanobieCoaster oh I see, I didn’t realise they were mounted to the ride, very cleaver
Grid is better (Cyborg Hyper Drive)
I disagree.
