Returned in pillowcases. Love it.
I know lol 😆
It was actually returned in crates, mostly.
I read Victor's book, great read.
Also
Thanks I'm going to give it a go
It might be out of print, he wrote it after being here in USA a few years. The one thing I remember in the last chapter, he talks about driving from California to DC without being stopped and how good freedom feels.
Read it too and AGREE!
I've often wondered what happened to Viktor Belenko, as the last interview of him I read was from around 2000. Sadly, it appears he died last year.
That's sad news. A few people have said his book was really good. I'm going to give it a read
I read the book that recounts his defection called “MiG Pilot” I believe - (Been many years) and it was an excellent read. I think there was a movie too. As far as the “breakup” of his marriage, his wife died as a result of delayed surgery in the Soviet system and that was the impetus for his eventual defection.
Love this RAF guy. Typical British understatement.
I'm definitely going to read his book. Thanks for the comment and watching.
Nice
Fascinating thanks 👍
Interesting watch 👏🏼
Glad you think so!
Belenko helped end the Cold War... he is celebrated in the circles of those who know why.
Ones hero, to some a traitor...
I am too
A phantom pilot?
