With The Deep & The Dark, Visions of Atlantis once more set sail to oceanic myths and the eternal dream of the sunken continent.
The varied and fascinating voice of Clémentine Delauney provides for hauntingly beautiful duets with Siegfried Samer`s classic power metal infusions, embodying the symphonic metal cake: From the grandiose album title track ‘The Deep & The Dark‘, folklore elements in ‘Ritual Night‘ to the up-tempo juggernaut ‘Return To Lemuria‘, Visions of Atlantis round off all their facettes in this mystical adventure. Right away her voice impressed me I'm very picky on how symphonic metal sounds. Very stunning and beautiful! Always looking for a amazing symphonic band to add to my playlist!

Hey she's also in the four female vocalist band called Exit Eden! So glad I found out Visions of Atlantis to hear her voice more.
She's also the female vocalist on the Serenity album War of Ages
Good thing I re-discovered this band, since first listening to Seven Seas some 12 years ago. Clementine is really a great fit, and the band is heading ever stronger.
First time I've heard of and listened to. BLOWN AWAY. Another band to start listening to.
I heard this on my Napalm Records promotional CD "25 Years of Rock & Metal." I'm glad that I could learn of this great song through a CD that I got for free!

I saw Clementine in person a couple of weeks ago. She was in the back of the crowd after her performance in Mesa, AZ while DragonForce was on stage. She is so incredibly GORGEOUS in person. One of the most statuesque and beautiful women I have EVER seen.

"Ye Banished Privateers" having some fun here! 😁 Two great seafarer bands I really adore in one music video? Even though pirates are "only" acting there. I think singing colab of the two would be great and definitely funny!
I love how this sounds like a mix of country and symphonic metal. They are genious, they deserve lot of money.

Just listening to this band's new album, a band which operates a few hundred kilometers from my hometown since +15 years, and I never heard about them so far... Just an awesome album, right at the first listening 4-5 songs immediately built into my ears! They play for 10Euros (!) alongside 5 other Symphonic Metal bands, this Friday in Budapest! Be there!

Only in certain part I can hear him sort off. He does a good support voice.
He blends well but if he was not there, they could use her own voice over her own voice (to re-sing that bit over her own bit) and it would have been nearly the same.

i have to recognize that this song is as if some might likely call it a big masterpiece whose sound personally carries me towards a magical place where I can behold forest ,castles and suchlike ,to listen such a great musical performance at this very moment is a big deal ,beyond the majestical voices ,the guitar plucking is actually the highlight.

You harmonize so freaking well together! I absolutely love the vocals for this song. The instrumentation is excellent as well. The song is well-balanced with all the right elements. It's such a solid composition from beginning to end. The video is very cool too. I like the ocean blue eyes opening at the sound of the last two notes.
I swear you get better with each album. I've been a fan since about 2006 (between the release of Cast Away and Trinity). You know, with each album you not only showcase growth as a band, but you bring something new which always keeps me curious between releases.

can do nothing but praise this song! Heard it first in Wörgl this February and fell in love with it from the first Chorus on. Still listening to it a lot to this date, which is very rare! Simply a great composition :-)
Visions of Atlantis have really come along. I remember seeing them live in the past with different lead singer etc and not liking them at all but this is a big improvement.

Her voice is different than what she does for Exit Eden. Here she seems to sing with classical vocals while Exit Eden seems to be her badass rocker chick voice. Epic. Clementine literally sings w/ 2 different styles here.

After listening to their new stuff with Meek, I think it's necesary to re-edit this song and bring more presence to Sigfried's voice, if you don't focus you can barely hear him and he is making a good job with the harmonies.
