With The Deep & The Dark, Visions of Atlantis once more set sail to oceanic myths and the eternal dream of the sunken continent.
The varied and fascinating voice of Clémentine Delauney provides for hauntingly beautiful duets with Siegfried Samer`s classic power metal infusions, embodying the symphonic metal cake: From the grandiose album title track ‘The Deep & The Dark‘, folklore elements in ‘Ritual Night‘ to the up-tempo juggernaut ‘Return To Lemuria‘, Visions of Atlantis round off all their facettes in this mystical adventure. If and when her voice&laugh becomes hard to remember/hear: try not to hold onto that hurt too tightly for too long. Her voice/she will come to you when you need it most and expect it least. (The longer it took for me to let go of that hurt, the longer it took for my daddy's to come back to me)

I really hope Clèmentine is their permanent singer. The music is strong enough that through all their incarnations they’ve still sounded amazing and have never lost what makes them so great, but something magical happens when her vocals mix with his-powerful and ethereal at the same time...their harmonies are unbelievable and mixed with those heavy drums and dirty guitar it’s everything I love about symphonic metal.

For those interested: Male vocals are performed by Siegfried Samer, lead vocalist of power metal band 'Dragony'. Likewise, Clementine Delauney, (Female vocals) is a part of the band "Exit Eden' along with three other female vocalists, who perform rock/metal covers of classic songs (Such as Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart"). Check them both out!!

I think it's incredible they compose a melody similar to Lemuria, because it passes the impression of a return for real. I loved it! Visions of Atlantis never lost its essence! ❤❤❤❤
A triumphant return, I loved their "Cast Away" album and this reminds me of that with a fresh sound. Just bought the album and loving it!

Since this song has been uploaded I have listened to this song many times. in fact, this is the very first song I have ever heard from this band and I found out that this will be their 6th album. How have I missed these guys all these years? It made me buy their first 4 albums and since then I have been listening to Cast Away and Trinity the most. I fucking love them now! This song had made me an instant fan of all their work!
Interesting that Cast Away and Trinity are you favorites. I would have thought if you liked Cast Away, then Endless Eternal Infinity would also be one of your favorites since it is stylistically close to Cast Away.
I personally like the band's first two albums a lot, followed by Ethera, then Trinity, then Delta. Really wish the band would lean more in to their hyper-melodic first two albums.

VOA’s 2nd album “Cast Away” inserted song “Lemuria”, elapsed 14 years. Female Vocalist changed Nicole Bogner to Clémentine Delaunay. It became almost different characters. I approve Nicole and Clémentine too. Besides this band’s reader Thomas Caser and me are same birthday (August 1). I’m proud same birthday to Thomas about one metal fan🤘!! I hope end this CCP virus 🦠 and come back metal’s live!! Metal rock forever!!

One of the best songs of theirs I've heard since the Trinity album, and I really hoped that lineup had stayed together longer, but this was outstanding, and VoA's evolution is definitive progressive metal as its best days are about to really come.
