    The Eco is 45lb/2500sqft
    The Milo is the right side and I noticed it from the introduction. It’s darker green.
    The Milo at $9/ bag was a fair price and the closer you get to Milwaukee, Wi the cheaper the price for the Milo.
    Note: dedicated usage of these products can add lots of phosphate to your soil and it might be a good idea to skip application Year to Year or get soil samples.
    The one benefit I do love about Milo, rabbits hate it, it stinks. The times I apply Milo I don’t get rabbit nests in my lawn. I actually throw it down as a repellent for rabbits and cats.

      Hey Js! It was so difficult for us to tell! With the naked eye you couldn’t see it. I was hoping for a distinct difference between the two but oh well.
      Milo used to be $10 a bag by me and it was great and you’re right. Milo can mess with phosphorus numbers.
      Now that I think of it I have seen any rabbits on my yard since I started using it from time to time. Interesting! Thanks for sharing my friend! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

      @@GarageGear I’ve tried a few different like-Milo and never saw the results I had with real Milo. One important thing I hear a lot, many people don’t measure their yards and fall short of throwing down a proper amount.
      Another thing, I also notice Positive results from throwing it into the flower beds. So I also make sure when I do throw it down that it gets everywhere👍🏻👍🏻
      Keep up the great information!

    • @GarageGear
      @GarageGear  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@js12278 I totally agree with you bud! People either throw down way too much or not enough because they don’t know the exact size of their lawn.
      I also do the flower trick too! Lol! Every spring I buy one bag of milo or in this case eco this year and throw a handful at the base of each plant. All the plants come up brighter and bigger!
      Will do my friend! 👍 Keep on ROCKIN!

      @GarageGear  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Ed! Never had this issue with my timemaster but I have seen this on a 21” toro and my friends Honda. Did the same things and narrowed it down to a magneto going bad. Some, when they overheat they quit working and won’t restart. Sometimes restarting when they cool off. Replacing them is the only fix for them. I’m guessing that’s your issue but I wouldn’t rule out a thorough carb clean to clear the jets. Hope this helps you out my friend! Let me know how it works out.

    This is my second year that I'm actually investing time and money into my lawn and so far I've had some ok results but nothing impressive yet. But this might be a game changer for me I'm going to try the fertilizer that you talked about on this video to brighten up the green in my lawn and also thicken the grass up a little bit. Do you have any tips on what you can do about pet urine spots in the yard that is what is crushing me the most about keeping a nice lawn ? Thanks for another great video JB. Have a great week

    • @GarageGear
      @GarageGear  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Bud, couple things to try. First, get whole the lawn strong and healthy. Two, designate one area of the lawn for them to do their business in. Three, if you can, try to neutralize the area they pee in with water right after or shortly after they go. This will help dilute the urine. Lastly, if you can mix up some humic acid with some kind of root growth stimulator, and pour that on the spots multiple times right after or shortly after they go throughout the week that can help the lawn stay green and not get burned by them. Hope this helps my friend! 👍

    Bag size has nothing to do with how big to open the hopper - the npk does

    • @GarageGear
      @GarageGear  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Mark, both bags state they cover 2500 square feet. If you use the same hopper opening as for the Milo you’ll have a lot left over in the hopper when your done with the eco. To accomplish the same results as the Milo, eco requires more pounds on the ground. Over the course of your passes you’ll need a slightly wider opening to get the extra pounds out. Dude, really?? Who in the heck is going to literally measure a blade of grass with a tape measure, to compare if there's any difference in the length between the two brands. Who does that? It's silly! You do realize that each and every blade of grass on a lawn is not the same the length, even before or after it's been mowed. A person doesn't need a tape measure to figure that out. It's just common sense! Grass just doesn't have that kind of precision because its from seeds that's germinated from the soil on the ground. Don't expect for each and every blade of grass to be the same, exact length because it's not logical. This Ecoscraps is obviously the generic of Milogranite, just like every other product on the market that has a generic brand.
