I filmed 3 sets of strings. They were all brand new. Pro Arte, Prim, and Obligato. I didn't think to film them when they were new and old!!!!!!!!!!
So.....I have an old set of strings on right now, and before I take them off, I'll film them, and post something asap to compare new versus old strings. That's a GREAT idea.
The video that I just finished is called "Comparing Pro Arte, Prim, Obligato Violin STrings"
I would have done more brands.....but I lost my videos showing Dominants, and then I got extensive work done on my violin, so I could no longer compare strings with controlled variables......I'll have to do more strings with the new violin setup.
