Roger Rabbit I like the one in Generations better because of the speed and buildup to it. This one just sounds like an early 2000's breakdown from any generic metalcore band.
David Marsh I see what you mean. Lots of other bands have used and abused the whole "pause, scream a quote, then go right into a breakdown" method, and it can be very predictable. But I think on this song it comes completely out of left field because we almost never hear it from them. And the way Jake screams "yeah" just adds all new layers of power here. I dunno, I just really dig it haha. But the Generations one is sick too.
