week in my life as a kindergarten teacher + travel vlog

I'm currently a substitute but I'm entering my first teaching internship this fall at ucf. Your videos give me so much hope. I know teaching is a very controversial and a difficult career but seeing genuine people like you make these videos make me feel like it's worth it. Gives me a lot of hope and perseverance.

I’m a sub in western washington and TRUUUST we appreciate detailed sub plans so much!! It sucks when other staff members, or even the kids, mention things they regularly do (it’s usually small stuff) that were NOT included in the sub plans. I know a lot of subs cover in the same buildings, but it’s been very helpful when teachers include a campus map and the extensions list bc not everyone has these readily available at or near their desk or in a sub binder! 😌
Love your sub binder!! But especially LOVED that you had those activities sorted in bags with their names. I sub for kinder a lot and they often argue over things like that if they aren’t pre-sorted or labeled lol.

What tutoring do you attend ? Do you meet with students and tutor them? This is going to be my first year teaching kindergarten, I am so glad that I found your videos!

I meet with two students after school and tutor them. That will be so much fun, kindergarten is a blast!
