I enjoy listening to this music, it makes me contemplate life on a higher spiritual level. PAX +
That broodingly pensive Andante (built around a recurring, almost hypnotic, motif) appeals to me very much. As Opus 1, it's possible that the Symphony tends to be overlooked in Rimsky's canon and yet he clearly felt it worthy of later revisions. I really like it anyway.

@@fulviopolce9785 un peccato. Avrei voluto ascoltare una sinfonia romantica in mib minore... pazienza, mi "accontenterò" della Sesta di Prokofiev
@@fulviopolce9785 più che intellettuale, un'emotività completamente diversa data dalla tonalità, appunto diversa. Una sinfonia del genere in mib minore suonerebbe più malinconica e cupa, almeno per me.
@@fulviopolce9785 ma anche tra mib minore e mi minore sento tantissime differenze. Ecco perché vorrei conoscere la sinfonia nella sua versione originaria, perché Rimsky Korsakov la scrisse originariamente in tale tonalità.
