Understanding people is so damn important. THere are so many psychos in the corporate world with no moral compass that see others as stepping stones, it's not even fun....
You hear that everyone's different but as soon as you actually realise everyone's different and you keep to yourself more be nicer don't judge people and try to understand how they think you'll have a lot nicer simpler full life
I think if he didn't take things personally and integrate his dark side (competitiveness and rage , anger ...) , probably he wouldn't reach his potential as an world class engineer.
