Pretty sure Lana is one of those artists who sing their songs differently live everytime. Regardless of whether they rehearsed it that way or not, which may be the reason her voice sounds 'off' to people. I however love this. What would be the point of going to her show if she sang the same way every time.
This song doesnt seem to work with anyone other than Lana. Thats whats so special about Lana's voice. Anyone else singing it sounds like Kareoke. Mileys is a good kareoke, but not a very good cover.
I can't believe people are saying this is bad; I think the vulnerability in her voice is very powerful/emotional.
