I don’t think they forgot about them. I think it’s going to be a special or a movie or Season 2. I saw a clip where they met at a movie theater or something and Jen said he heard that he had a partner. It was not shown here. Plus, we have the Dad throwing away the resignation letter. I think it’s going to show where the father try to force Jeng to stay. Whether by threatening Pat and his company or something. So these two factors make me believe in some special episodes or a movie with deleted scenes.
Petition for a season 2 . We need Jaab and Jen's story. We also need to know what the father did cos he didn't accept Jeng's resignation. And he's also yet to accept his relationship.

As a Gay Man i have to say this is a pretty realistic view of a serious Gay relationship without Any cliche and bl fanservice
I know everyone is hoping for a season 2 but I'm already satisfied with this ending. there's no fantasy ending where all of their issues magically resolved by the end of the series cause that's not what would happen in reality. Jeng's unanswered resignation, his mother's reaction towards pat and of course Jaabjen gave more justice to the title Step by Step. Their relationship will continue to grow just like any other relationship, tackling one issue at a time in each others company. Congratulations to the whole team and to DeepHouse for pulling this off and ending it with flying colours 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

The ending was not an ending but a "to be continued" episode. Man, and Ben, gave us the insight that their journey together is continuing along with many hints throughout episode 12.
The introduction of Jeng’s mother to Pat with inferences that in the near future she will warm up. accept and get used to Pat to be more of a caring mother or mother-in-law? Jeng’s father’s refusal to accept Jeng’s resignation but threw it in the waste basket might infer future negotiations to get Jeng back into the company, Jaab going to meet Jen and possible rekindle their love are all possible future endeavors for these characters.
Dee Hup House. May I congratulate your entire production company, actors, directors, script writes and every single person who had a part in creating this series which became a true masterpiece of cinema and film. This is one of the best series with a realistic and natural story that brought two men of different social-economic levels together as a perfect couple that had their flaws, flaws that occur in a business, it was just so entertaining.
To end the 12th episode in a furniture store was perfect as I see it. It reinforced my suggestion that the future between Pat and Mr. Jeng will flourish for many, many years.
I am so grateful to have gone step by step with every character sharing their tears, heartache and love. Yes, I am 73 years old, a blessed grandfather who loves series like these. Why? Because gender has nothing to do with the brilliant story line, any combination of genders, I feel, would produce the same result of two people really developing and realizing that they are in love. Tomorrow, I celebrate 49 years with my beloved, I pray the character couples in Step-by-Step reach that milestone too and many more.

Let’s face it, this series is the realest of ALL series with the reality of growth. Everything is taken in a timely and realistic timeframe. Even the ending has many open endings which AGAIN ITS SUPER realistic to every lifes. Absolutely love the series EVEN if Pat annoyed me so many times hahaha buy got to remember no one is perfect lol

I think that the series was marred by poor Direction and scatty script writing. The actors were good and the cinematography too. Jeng was the star of the show.

I really like Man's acting...he's so authentic Ben was also amazing and he can improve so much. I hope to see part 2 of side couple..all round it was a great cast and all side actors did their best. This series has tested our patience and really they didn't rush the story it went step by step

This was a well made series with quality acting. I did find Pats character wearing and would have preferred less pouting and whining. However he was a good counterpoint for Jen’s quieter character. Overall,I enjoyed the show very much. Good job!

I also find that so endearing. BTW, I’m a millennial that works with and has several friends that are Gen Z or on the cut off (zillennials) and even if I’m used to it, we really do things differently. I’m actually older than Man Trisanu, the actor that portrays Jeng. But I look way younger, it’s my secret weapon. And I use social media a lot because of those friends, and my job or else I’d have a bare bones profile.

* Jeng cumplirá la promesa de casarse ? tendrán ese hogar soñado
Tal cual! Imagino que habrá una segunda temporada y esta vez los personajes principales serán Jaab y Jen y en paralelo se verá el desarrollo de la historia de Jeng y Pat

Por ello coincido que debe mejor antes de ser actor principal

I just finished binge watching this and I honestly love it so much!! I love how it depicts the work culture more too instead of just straight out love story. Jeng and Pat have some of the best chemistry I've seen and they're both decently good actors. The whole cast is great and the plot is too. I do love a good slow paced love story, makes it more realistic though i can see how it'd be frustrating to wait weekly for each episode 😂

This series is really good. I like that it's not cringy like the other ones its more realistic and the acting is natural. The story line is also good focusing not only on the romance but also the working environment.

Just commenting to say I love Pat, he’s my favorite character by a wide berth. He feels so real to me, down to his immaturity and irrationalness at times, and I love that. He does a good job at showing that someone making mistakes does not make them a lost cause. Also the actor who plays him is super cute 🥰

The story was really step by step. Not like other bl stories where within first half they fall in love n in second half they break up n reconcile.

Having a season 2 would be nice: we'd get to see how their story progresses. Jeng's dad trashed his resignation so we know trouble's brewing on that front. He probably told the board Jeng took a leave of absence. Jaab and Jen's story is unfinished and I would love to see them together.

I am crying. Why did this series end? It’s one of the best bl series I ever watched. My favourites being We best Love,Not me the series, Manner of death,Eclipse, A tale of thousand stars.. and I really love alove by chance’s actors chemistry

Loved the series…..but not impressed by last episode! Really felt it was rushed! So much dealt with the misunderstanding between Pat and Jeng! Would have loved to see them reconciled sooner. Hoping there is a season 2. So much left unanswered. Would like to know what happened between Jaab and Jen😘 Overall enjoyed Man and Ben performances! Fingers crossed to see them again in another series if not a season 2! Cheers🎉
