Just got my ninja 650. Also, just got my endorsement few months ago.....basically still learning. Took the bike on I95 here in Hollywood Florida......first time reaching 50mph....that wind hit my chest....caught my attention for a minute.
It takes some practice to get used to. The more you ride, the more comfortable you'll get with it. Ride safe, shiny side up. Practice practice practice.
I took mine 100 on the first day with 10 psi in both tires. Bikes too damn easy imo. Had it like 2 weeks now I’m topped it out & wheelie-ing. Need a 600

What year is your bike? I have a 2022 but mine at 70+ it flashes orange like the speedometer but yours doesnt liie did you disable something?
It's in your settings on the bikes screen. You can set the rpm or turn the light off.

I just rode a 650 this weekend as a new rider, and it was highly dissapointing and slow. Zx6r or zx10 is the way to go
as a new rider you feel it is slow, you are lying or simply don't know how to ride. For a new rider any bike looks fast at start. I have 20 years on different bikes and even the scooter feels fast if ridden accordingly at the right place
