I believe this video scriptwriter has misinterpreted Frida's paintings - both the Two Fridas and Frida'sself portrait that followed. Both those paintings are in fact showcases of Frida's new comprehension of the purest freedom; to not be afraid of humanity and life, and that she had found roots. Her fingers are the roots in one painting and in the next, they sit upon her shoulders like a cape of a valedictorian.
@conewells Who would have been a better Frida? Even though it was a bad narrative, at least the story was told...a little inaccurately, but it got people looking at Frida once, again and forever!
