I followed along with you step-by-step and when I tried to import the points I got a message that said "no points were imported from the source." Where did I mess up?
Nice...got it done with little trouble, however I have meters instead of feet. I selected feet everywhere you selected meters. Any suggestions where it went wrong? I tried selecting imperial when TCX converting.
hye can anyone help me, my elevations would appear differently from the excel file, if the excel files says elevation are 87 m, it would appear on civil3d 287 m. idk why all my elevations are increased by 200, please someone helppp
I had the same problem, I assume your windows settings make excel use decimal symbol as a comma. But Civil3D uses points. What I did was: 1. Copy and paste the coordinates in the .csv file to a new excel file. 2. Go to File > Options. 3. Click Advanced in the menu on the left side. 4. Look for the section "Use system separators." 5. Uncheck the box for "Use system separators." 6 Now, manually set the separators: Decimal separator: Enter a period (.). Thousands separator: Enter a comma (,) or leave the field empty if you don't want a thousands separator (is what I did). 7. Click OK to apply the settings. 8. Save as/export as .csv file deliminated by comma's 9. Load and parse the document in Civil3D This worked for me hope you find it usefull. (even if it is after 2 years)
