It's well worth the hour to get a full understanding and feel of what to expect on The Celebrity Beyond. The other videos just give highlights, but from this video, you feel as though you have seen most of the ship. For me personally, I like and learned where the ice cream was.

I'm disappointed in this class of ship from Celebrity. Just a few notes. 9:03 is La Normandie from the famous SS Normandie and is really a prized museum piece. It was originally on that ship and then Celebrity used it on one of the Millennium class ships when they had ocean liner themed specialty restaurants that used panels and artifacts from famous oceanliners in their dining room decor.
The Normandie MDR s one of the few "Celebrity style" areas (retro-modern) I see on this ship. I like the restaurant but this ship is not short of nice restaurants. If you are want dining treats and different ambiances, you can't go wrong on this ship. The Cosmo is as well and to a degree the Cyprus. But the wide hallways and such don't have that Celebrity feel and mood, more of a nondescript modern ship with neutral colors and or peach/rose/champagne and light teals. I do find the elevator banks elegant and wished the whole ship used more of that kind of presentation opposed to the one they used. I do like the staircases near the MDRs and the four MDRs.
But my major problem with this class of ship is the relocation and changed style of the Martini Bar. They took the magic away, the views, the modern-retro feel and the little sections by the windows. It's now seems like the bottom landing of the foyer and they used this whole style in Eden as well. I can't like a ship with no lounges like the Ensemble or Rendezvous and no forward facing lounges like the Sky Lounges on the Solstice class. I also can't like a ship that totally deletes the library, card room, and other quiet hideaways. Why throw that away from the Solstice? Why no intimate areas inside the ship. Sure there are chic sitting areas but they are by hallways. It's like they wanted to condense the public areas and have restaurants near it rather than have folks just mingle and have more romantic areas. It's not a romantic ship outside of the restaurants. To me, it's just new and nice. The Martini Bar also needs to unwanted noise in the specialty restaurants above more than it should. It changes the whole Celebrity feel and downgrades it, IMO.
Great theater, tech is improved but tech is always improving, some enhanced deck areas and such. Buffet restaurant, anything to do with food seems enhanced. But there are more extra charge areas as well.
IMO, Magic Carpet it a gimmick and it's not attractive on the side of the ship. And Eden can be a mess in terms of people trying to see the show and probably will be redesigned at some point. It seems to be a variation of Royal Caribbean's Two70 but that was better designed for show viewing and perhaps aft ocean views. Eden could be a useful addition but it's not for everyone.
Another big problem is the infinite verandas, not to everyone's liking but there aren't a lot of regular verandas. Then there is the whole ship in a ship class system that denies passengers forward views unless you're in a gym and did it really have to be taken up by a fancy restaurant for suite passengers? You don't have to deal with such a situation in the Solstice or Millennium class or with Holland America or Princess. It's not good. Suite passengers are a small percentage of passengers.
Sorry for the long reply but I feel necessary to get out of the new ship ga-ga that I don't have for this class and point out some not so great aspects of this ship. Sure, it's a nice ship. Maybe it is pretty. But it isn't that timeless elegance of a usual Celebrity ship, isn't vibrant and romantic, and really, it looks like some business folks carved this ship out to maximize revenue. That's necessary but do it in a way that's less obvious IMO.
Hope the next Celebrity class of ships go back to their roots. Massively disappointed in this class. That's not to say others won't love it. But I go way back with Celebrity and this one doesn't impress some of us. I have no problems with updating. My problem is identity as a Celebrity ship, not updating and modernization.
