I realize it is recommended to not side load beam clamps, however I noticed in the video at the 55 second mark there is a cable attached that appears to be imparting some side loading. Is there a formula to calculate the maximum permissible side loading?
In theory it will work as long as the Working Load Limit of each trolley supporting the floating beam is equal or greater than the working load limit of the trolley on the floating beam plus the weight of the floating beam. It is always recommended to get a qualified person to design and approve your application before lifting.
Before final tightening, you can move the beam clamp on the beam to set it into the optimal position. Once it is tightened, it is recommended not to add any linear forces to the clamp.
Excellent presentation
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills.
sharing is good idea for rigging works here in the philippines

......I guess not....
Can we use two sets of trolley to support a floating beam which will have its own trolley to lift products?

thank you
i got a question
we can use the beam clamp to lift up the beam to move it of a place to another ?
What size ' H ' beam would you need over a 3 metre length to have a s.w.l for 1 Ton
Can we give linear motion to "beam clamp" to move clamp in specified position on flange of beam

what if we thread only one bush that is opposite of handle side?
Thanks
No problem!
Are these good for punching bag?
How to order.
How do you buy these beautiful tools?
They are available on our website!
Why would you want to put a beam clamps on the underneath of a beam like in 1:46 ?
Had it for over a year
