    nice whistle; you should hold it steady going past the camera once, so people can hear the Doppler shift. exactly the sort of loco Im looking for. Well, cept Id rather have coal.

      This engine used to be coal, and I get why people like the nostalgia of coal, but im not a fan. I'll do it occasionally at a friends railroad for fun, But coal is a lot of extra work that's just not for me.

      @@Tank245 Sure, its a pain, and in fact until I started hanging around with live steamers I always assumed I would use propane cause its so simple and clean. But I dont like having the propane car between me and the pax. If I could run it on Diesel or kerosene and store the fuel in the tender since its more dense that would be good.
      But I like the authenticity of coal, particularly the smell. Reminds me of when I was a kid standing on the highway overpass with my grandfather and the trains would go underneath and the steam would cut off on one side and start up again on the other and you would smell the coal.

      I cannibalized it at the end of last year to force myself to never use it again haha
