This man pumps out some very useful information on a constant basis. JP is my number 1 go to for my system. 95% of my gear is from D4Sshop and it has never failed me once. Two Sundown Salt 8's on two Sundown zv6 15's no wall in a modified Pontiac Vibe. Not even close to clipping. Does a 156.1 at 31hz with tons of headroom

Question..... should I do a run from alt straight to back agm. Or just do another run from front battery to back.

Hey JP 👋🏼 I’m 21 years young and I have a 07 Tahoe (No big 3, Pioneer head unit, stock battery) running:
-A single 15 inch Kicker L7S Sub in a closed enclosure that it came in when I got it being pushed by a NESA TD-100 3000 watt Monoblock Amp.
Question: I plan on getting/making a ported enclosure for the lower notes but don’t know whether to make my first enclosure or buy one pre-fabbed?
    - My mids/highs
Door speakers: 6.5 inch JBL coaxials along with JBL tweeters in the front pillars and a pair of DD Audio 2.75”’s in the back pillars; On a 800x4 Taramps Amp.
Im also in the process of refabricating a Dual 10” midrange speaker voicebox which will be in the back where my 3rd row was. In it im putting 2 Skar fsx10’s along with some ds18 super tweeters after I recarpet it. Powered by a little taramps 440x4 for now.
The Taramps Amps I’m repainting from white to black to match my Tahoe but other than that what changes/upgrades would you recommend I do to improve my sound?

    Rapid Fire Question:
What power requirements do I need for a jp63? Alternator, batteries etc.
Will ltos work? And can I hook them to my main battery? Or do I need to replace that too,
I have 2 XV3 12s and I was going to start off with a jp23v2 to start until I can upgrade my electrical but I'm afraid of clipping and ruining the subs and amp. Am I okay to start off with just a jp23 until I can get a better alternator and can grab a couple of lithium batteries?
Thanks in advance love the videos, any help is appreciated!

You could try wiring to .5 ohm instead of getting a new amp, but obviously that wouldn’t be warrantied and you’d need to get amp fans if you did.. the jp amps are resilient though, and Korean boards can take .5 ohm.. that’s why he offers a warranties on his amplifier for those that do wanna run at .5 ohm. But you’d probably be able to save money by running at half ohm, compared to buying a new amplifier.. it’s just more risky for the amp. But if you decided to do that, you need to insure that after box rise you aren’t overpowering the subs.. Which means you’d have to model them in WINISD in order to check.. you can find tutorials on how to use win isd on TH-cam.. and you can also find videos about box rise if you’re unfamiliar..

That should be fine for what you want.. but a jp40 would be ideal, and it’s only slightly more.. the jp 40 couldn’t interface with a agm, or lead acid battery though.. but it would be enough for your system, so you wouldn’t need the other agm battery.. the jp 40 puts out a lot more power with the same alternator power, and it’s $450 instead of $400

Wow, I wasn't expecting him to actually read my message, I appreciate the suggestions JP. Fortunately, I checked my alt, and its fine charges at 14.6 when checking amperage as well with subs playing it was putting out around 290 on average it's a little lower than I would want but it should be enough for what I have might have a tuning issue or something with honda electrical limiting me.

4:36 The Honda CRV, I have a Honda Odyssey 2007, did a 250 alt, dual d3400 battteries, 1 gaugh running though and get voltage drop on a 1200 watt skar amp. The problem is with the ELD. For those that have the Hondas that have elds the only 3 ways i have learned to stop this is, either clip the wire that makes the eld work which kills your alts because it runs full on constantly, or get a dedicated switch to chsrge the batteries manually. Me i did neither, i just run my fan to create electrical draw and trigger the eld to kick in and charge the batteries. Hope i helped some. Hondas....long lasting engines but electrical not meant to be altered smh 😂

I have a 2014 Honda crv, idk if this issue will apply to me.. but how would a manual switch work, if you know..? or what I can look up to learn about it..

    • @cevintambel6700
      @cevintambel6700 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@devencherry8976 so basically it's the same switch people that go camping use, it's it's switch that switches manually to charge up auxiliary batteries. But if you forget to charge them it could result in low voltage. So u would have to do what all us bassheads do and watch the voltage closely.
