An amazing channel, I was so close to visiting Japan at one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit this amazing place.

Omg! Juanita!? YAY! That makes me SO HAPPY ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you did resume your relationship again? That is ok if you want to keep it secret, but that is great news if so, and great news regardless even if you're just keeping in touch and meeting regularly. I don't know if people were saying anything before, but the videos where she appears in them, whether just calling in, entering the chat, but especially the ones where she is reacting to your love of toys and hearing about the stuff you've been getting and commenting were some of the funniest and most relatable, because a lot of us have wives and girlfriends and partners that are not totally gung ho about all the collecting we do haha,
so it is really hilarious to see the supportive but possibly slightly skeptical and real reactions of a person who can sort of like it and can sort of understand it but doesn't do the same things, lol, and I sort of suspect collecting might be something guys and boys who grew up collecting stuff might gravitate towards more anyway, even though there are girls who do too it isn't as common so far at least and it might be some kind of biological factor that leads to the tendency to be more prevalent among men filling up their man caves with bones and trophies (like serial killers).

Always fun to see some walkabout footage. Thanks, Dave!

I really enjoyed that video, though I wouldn't have minded more footage even if it had reflections just to see what it is like to walk through most of Tokyo's Mandarake and other places there, but maybe you'll have another chance to take extensive (including non-Toy related) tours of Tokyo and other places in Japan this year or eventually. Juanita's reactions and eventual boredom with the whole thing was very funny too and relatable and something that I've seen a lot of also haha. I wouldn't mind seeing her reactions to videogame stuff like Stellar Blade and Nikke Goddess Of Victory and "Cheesecake" stuff like statues and whatever you might bring up and show.
Here is some information regarding cheesecake, but before looking it up, I thought maybe the cheesecake term works for people or became popular because somehow it made sense to people that cheesecake is not only sweet, but also "thick" and dense as compared to "fluffy" and "light" in its usual texture, so that it might have been another way of referring to the heft in the appearance of large buttocks and breasts and thighs, like people with a lot of thickness and density, and similar with the term "beefcake", that beef has a tough structure and is also hard and dense (and it is muscle meat also), plus these both refer to things people eat, so there is an element of contact involved too, things people might slobber over or about in the way they might a piece of cheesecake or steak (but this is also objectifying and dehumanizing, but in a friendly way that is usually considered complimentary for the most part and not usually used as an insult at least).
Neatorama has an article: " The Origins of the Terms Cheesecake and Beefcake ":
Right now there is a controversy going on in gaming and media about Western and especially American media and game developers deliberately trying to show characters who are made less attractive than in the past or taking away the sensual fantasies away from the largely male audiences so that they are gravitating to Japanese and South Korean content instead to get that more old fashioned beauty standards met, and there is also controversy regarding Tekken 8 and their "representation" which had the Japanese developer arguing back in "bless his heart" English against people hassling him about the Tekken characters, and these might be worth making some specific videos about that will likely get clicks and views.
    This is amazing! The 1600s!
    "
Curiously, the term "cheesecake," in connection with a beautiful woman, seems like a fairly recent term. It has a kind of a 1920s or '30s sound to it. But no, cheesecake was used in Britain in the 1660s! Even then, the term was used to describe overly sexy or promiscuous women.

It can be found in Poems and Songs Relating to the Late Times, published in 1662. Shortly after Oliver Cromwell died, it was used to regret the occasion of Cromwell driving certain ladies (of questionable repute) out of the town:
But ah! It goes against our hearts,
To lose our cheesecake and our tarts.
    (Catchy, huh?)
But a more influential usage was inaugurated more than 250 years later. Fast forward to 1912, when James Kane, a photographer, was working for The New York Journal. One day James was posing an attractive young woman when a breeze blew her skirt up. When more leg than usual came on display, Mr. Kane (who reputedly loved cheesecake) exclaimed, "Wow! This is better than cheesecake!"
And a universal metaphor was born.
Although both sexes have occasionally been seen as sex objects in the eyes of others for as long as human beings have been around, it probably comes as no surprise to any of us that the male counterpart to cheesecake was coined much later.
In October of 1949, The Chronicle Telegram of Elyria, Ohio, made a reference to a growing trend in the movies. The paper noted that moguls were beginning to realize that the female half of the population enjoyed seeing well-built men. So in the movies, males with muscled chests were increasingly featured stripped to the waist. The Chronicle Telegram reported that movie cameramen had started to use the term "beefcake" to describe the phenomenon.
From whatever exact source the term derived from, it gained a much wider trend after a United States Coast Guard named Robert Moseley made a weekend tourist visit to Hollywood. Moseley was spotted by an alert agent, Henry Wilson of Vanguard Pictures, and renamed Guy Madison.
Madison appeared shirtless in his first movie in 1944. This appearance drew thousands of letters from women and led to a career as a television and movie star.
Hollywood historian Robert Hofler (in The Man Who Invented Rock Hudson) and D.K. Holm (in You'll Never Write a Book in This Town Again) point firmly to show box columnist Sidney Sklosky for the popularization of the term. Skolsky used the term beefcake to describe Guy Madison and this helped put the expression in the public arena.
So now, when you see Guy Madison in an old movie on AMC or TCM, you'll know his contribution to the world of pop culture nomenclature.

When you found that scarlet spider figure I jumped up outa my seat and went ooooooo 😅 there was the venom with the removable soft mask type head behind him as well. 2 of my absolute favorites as a kid. Luckily I still have them both I believe. But seeing them in package was great. I may have to seek them out in package just to display. That lasher and venom the madness is amazing as well. Still got those guys to.

Lol I love when people only watch one video of mine and assume I’m either a massive Hasbro hater or a Hasbro fanboy because heaven forbid I might have different opinions across a range of figures. It’s like watching a food critic give a positive review of an Italian restaurant and thinking “OMG tHiS gUY is An ItaLian restaurant fAN bOy!” :)

Judging by the comments this is whom you are dating. My advise: wife her. She puts up with the geeky toy hunts and the collection. That and the splits.
All semi-jokes aside, she seems very nice. Congrats.
