This was good for a lot of reasons. She didn't try to sing it exactly like Brandy; a mistake many make when covering a song by someone else. Brandy often does a lot of fast, intricate runs and ad-libs in her songs that we can't even do in our sleep. But, the bride stayed in the pocket of what her voice can and can't do, which always sounds far better than trying to do too much and miss the mark. It sounded clean and with her own kind of spin on it. I was also pleasantly surprised that the background singers pretty much replicated the harmony and didn't just sing in unison. I've heard people cover songs at weddings and a lot of time they didn't put as much time and practice as these folks clearly did to make it sound really good.

Yes she did. I think she may have had the usual wedding day nervousness initially...also the keyboard player was playing a little off and slowed the song down a bit too much. That's a HUGE day! VERY brave of her! I was a WRECK on my day WITHOUT singing! Lol
