Though I don't always purchase gear based on your reviews (as I would be quickly destitute), I do try to pick out one riff from your videos and learn it. Thus far I would estimate I'm about 0 - 438,931 on nailing any particular passage. That said, 0:41 - 0:52 and I have work to do this evening. Thanks for all of the effort that goes into making these, and for your inspiring playing.
When you put these in the effects loop, do they go in front of the time based effects? I don't want to lose my delays, etc..They sound great. I have a Radial Headlight..I have a stereo setup..with one channel going to a Marshall DSL1, and one going to my Boss KT100..I was thinking I could run a different Preamp out from that, to each Amp. Thanks Mike! (oops, never mind..I see you did answer my first question).
Mike can u help out? I use Helix direct in P.A. for live gigs. I suspect one of these little monsters would be a great backup! Which would a versatile choice? Fender fat super clean + British crunch. I suspect something like the one based on the Custom 100 (018) but not sure. 🙏🎸🎧🎼✌️011 in demo seems to have it all. Fat crunch & clean not too bad.
hello very nice comparison but i have a question coz i just order the 012.if that pedal is preamp and it need only to connect the output of the pedal to return of the amp then how i use my pedal effects like delay reverbs on the effect loop of the amp?
I use a Helix direct in PA for live gigs. It would be pretty sad if these little suckers smoke my Helix! 😂 At the very least it might be cool to buy one as a backup👍🎸🎧
I've got the 012 Friedman and I don't think I could make it sound this bad if I tried. I suspect it's the cab/speaker used. Using a 4x12 with Greenbacks, It sounds amazing. Put a tubescreamer in front & it's everything the Recto wishes it could be.

How is your signal? Guitar>amp>fx sent to mooer preamp>fx return Or just guitar >mooer preamp>fx return?
Superb review. Thank you very much!

I had the same question. He answers it in the description at the top.

012👍
What classic amp 013 tries to emulate? 😊
Matchless C-30
great video .... but got just one question... which one of these recreates MARSHALL sound?? I'll appreciate someone reply me ... t-you =)
elmero mero brown eye from friedman 012 basicly has developed with plexi tone character on it
or u can try 002 which is replicate jcm900, its sound good also
thanks a looooooooooot for ur reply =)
The Cali can almost pass crunchy. The other two sound like frying eggs, no?
yea bit too sizzly/fizzy
Friedman sounds the best no contest. Cali is muffled, they missed something important from that amp...

@@rangerdoc1029 it's definitely the speaker, and/or how it's mic'ed
