You're right, Chengdu ranks among the top 5 luxury goods sales in China, so many international luxury brands are located in Chengdu. If you have time, all you need to do is go to the southern part of the city, where there is the largest single building in Asia with a collection of luxury accessories. My husband and I spent 7 days in Chengdu in 2019 and fell in love with this city. 7 days is definitely not enough for us to explore Chengdu and its surrounding areas.

QingHai AR(or Koknor in mongolian) has various terrains and ethnic groups.
Tibetans in the mountains, Mongolians in the deserts, Han Chinese and Hui Muslims in the river valleys. Although remote and the poorest province in China, it is rich in cultural resources.
FYI, all the "Lanzhou Ramen" in the rest of China outside of Gansu Province are actually not authentic Lanzhou ramen, but are ramen stores run by Muslims in Qinghai (but also delicious and cheap).

I went on a business trip to Chengdu in 2006! Wow! What a difference! back then I loved the old Chengdu charm! Now it looks like a modern metropolis! So cool! My Chengdu video will be coming out soon!

In 2006, Chengdu was still very poor, with poor road construction, narrow roads and crowded vehicles, and no subway. After graduating from college in 2016, I went to work in Shenzhen because I remember there were only two subway lines in Chengdu at that time. I felt that Chengdu was very backward and didn't want to continue staying in Chengdu. Last year, when I returned to Chengdu for the Chinese New Year, I found that the number of subway lines had increased to 21, covering the entire city of Chengdu. I was shocked by the rapid pace of development , it's completely different.

I waited over 1 hour under hot sun to see the pandas in Toronto Zoo. When it was my turn, the pandas were sleeping.

About 20 Million people live in Chengdu, LOL. In China now, so many young people like to suspend their job after work several months or years or save some money and go to travel and enjoy life. So even workday, so many people are not work. Even only 1% young peolple suspend their job at the same time it's also a huge group.

About 100 kilometers away from Chengdu, there is a city called Zigong. There is a dinosaur museum there that houses numerous dinosaur fossils. If you have the time and opportunity to buy tickets, I highly recommend visiting it. It’s definitely worth it in my personal opinion. 👍
Also, please avoid trying overly spicy food. Although it is incredibly enjoyable to indulge in spicy delicacies, remember that the stimulation goes beyond just your mouth and throat.💙🧡💛💚❤💜🤎
