I finally figured out whily it sounds like "almondo doumo"
She says "doumo" kinda like "dou-a-mo" so when she says it twice it turns into "dou a-mo-do mo" and the human brain turns that into "do almond mo" which is why "almondo almondo" kinda sounds right but it's still a little weird to the ear.
