This happens in every mmo I have played. A burst meta comes, people complain about dying and eventually gear setups are added that make everyone take 3-5 full burst combos to kill. And that is usually when I fade out and move to the next mmo. Was hoping action based combat will help this one avoid that. We’ll see.
I actually was really looking forward to Keen Awareness and Hearty on the Champion's Ring :( it was the only one in the game that rolled with them garunteed.
That´s the big question in NW that´s why people stock pilling buy orders and boxes saving gear etc etc no one really know even if you play true the ptr it´s still so much we don´t know even if you data mine it´s still to many questions the shange so fast directions alot of talk o action towards what they are talking about
@DukeSloth Can you explain to me why you say that the "Heart of Cold" amulet isn't going to be "Best In Slot" for a mutation elemental protection piece? I personaly run Divine/Health/Elemental Protection on all my Mutation amulets because it keeps me alive and helps the healer keep me alive. If you're laying on the ground, it doesn't matter what else you might have on the amulet because you aren't doing your job and you are taking someone else away from doing their job to pick you up.

Yea they make an elemental bow just to nerf all elemental weapons with it. FS and IG have the lowest base dmg of all weapons, GL dealing damage to someone with enchanted ward + elemental aversion on set.
Honestly, as a returning player.. the luck stuff is huge. Most people on my server are charging 3k+ for literally anything with luck and being able to get a full set for everything is a great for me. I don't look to events to give me BIS, but in terms of luck, this event will be BIS for those who enjoy chest runs and what not.
Was actually wondering how I was gonna make a BIS chest run set that I can swap stats and weapons out easy and then the Christmas event delivers. Let's goo
Pretty sure they're gonna do something with Luck like they always do with useless stuff. And It's gonna be Meta (in pve) Winter event is only for skins tbh
I think it's fine because it's magnify. If you use all 5 (or 4 and an artifact) then you add the weapon and jewelry magnify that's 7 magnify. Meaning 224 stat points. Meaning you are extremely limited on attributes you can run. Something like 400/50/150 or 150/50/400 con. So you really won't be able to take full advantage of the armor without running something a little out there.
They are actually breaking PvP. The fact that medium/heavy can run enchanted ward and ele aversion on prices is crazy. Wtf is going on

The heavy black Ice is one of the best for tanking since its not magnify like the azoth crystal tho
magnify is shit somtimes it´s hard to balance stats if you´r not crafting your self
magnify sometimes makes attributes balancing worse, you cannot make it to your desired points.
Are you able to possibly change the 3rd peel of the winter event after you craft with the gleamite that would make these useful
How many hours do you need to put into gearing after hitting max lvl to compete in pvp to the point where gear diff is
The new winter luck patterns can be pretty bis as expedition gear so im not mad
Things are too expensive to upgrade....

Ideal perk for speedruns etc is usually Empowered. But Divine is plenty good if you're not minmaxing for speedruns or specific builds.

Its will be peace of shit if its have magnify. U can use only few peaces or no peaces at all to get your attributes right
Its true magnify is super anoying, but id rather have that than some int heavy pieces
