Mercedes has the best social media management hands down
They have the best everything
I'd say they'd be a lot better if they did some Mclaren style 'unboxed' videos.
I'd also love to see more of Red Bulls 'Never Lift'
@valleywoodworker I dunno I prefer these, no one does detailed & small insightful videos consistently like Merc, They've done like behind the scene 'Unboxed' things like McLaren in past years so doubt they wanna do same thing every year.
@@d.b.cooper1 yh merc is best for techy stuff and mclaren is best for fun little challenges and general bts.
Proof that humour is the key to a having a great - the best - team!
😄😀
This has 44 likes, should I let it be or ruin the number for the sakw of liking?

You would think since they are German that well
You guys are doing so well this year, the table will definitely make it to Christmas 🎄 😅
Mercedes used to so plain and boring.
Congratulations for coming out your shell guys
@@lukeruwanika387 Mercedes are that fat kid who got abs in high school. love you gus❤❤❤
@@joelchihota4994 😂😂😂😂
I’ think i have seen Toto bash that table out of sheer excitement as well haven’t I? So it might not make it to end-of-season After all. :-)
More or less they can buy a new one from the bonus money boys!
1:20 "striking distance of Toto"😂
Is the table portion where Toto sits reinforced so it can withstand his fist slams?
Yeah, a desk that can withstand Toto:s wrath for an entire season, that must be a bigger engineering feat than producing an F1 car ;)
Yes the table has TAS. Toto Assisted Structure
BeFaLcon 94 hahaha😂😂 this comment!
There's rumours that the desk is now reinforced with 8 layers of cross weaved carbon fibre sheets :P
@@AkashYadav-kp6hi I also heard that the desk has force sensors to detect toto's behavior. 1 slam good race, 2 or more slams bad race, more than 5 means double dnf.
Everyone Else: Mercedes are so good how do they do it?
Mercedes: Here is a video series explaining how we do everything.
Everyone Else: 😱
I mean... this isn't exactly how they do everything, this is pretty standard for all teams
Really, these videos show you what doesn’t matter that much, because if it did matter, then Mercedes would keep it secret
@@colevano@Sadisticsalmon he's clearly kidding
9 teams - We don't show or talk about anything that we do with the car.
Mercedes - If you've seen anything or heard anything and find interesting, reach out to us and ask as many questions as possible.
There, that's it. That's what makes you guys the best ever.
Proud to be a Mercedes fan. Absolute treat to watch you race and learn team management. :)
This is an incredible cross section of a very expensive operation
: How much do you love Mercedes F1 team?
: *_YES_*
❤️️
The Mercedes videos are the best of all teams
Thanks! ❤️️
Eh? What about redbull? They have the best social media presence!
McLaren would like a word, their unboxed series is unrivalled.
@@TheTrooper115 doesn't come close to redbull doing donuts on top of the helipad of burj al arab
Sorry, I'm talking about the tech side 😁
I feel sorry for the table. Hopefully it makes it to the end of the year.
We hope so too
The 2021 Season is about to start. Any updates on that desk. I hope it's been training over the off-season for Toto's Tantrums
Mercedes channel is a blessing to the sport!! Keep producing such content please.
🙏
Always informative - Great Insight into the Legendary Team's Inner Workings. Love it.
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
This.... This right here is why Mercedes will always be one of my favourite F1 teams
❤️️
These videos are awesome- thanks for the insight. As a Mercedes fan I wish the whole team nothing but the best of luck for the rest of the season
Means a lot, thanks so much 😊
I just love Simon's wry, dry humor. Thank you so much for introducing us to so many different team members, including through the shorter (60 second?) videos
Ferrari will be like: So thats all the people we have to hire for the next year. Interesting.
Ferrari : W E A R E L O O K I N G 😂
James Allison: you remember im your ex engineer right?
Funny thing is that Mercedes bought all the best engineers from other teams 😂
It makes me remember a line ln the netflix series in an episode about Haas
"Mercedes has more people on vacation than you have employed"
This comms info should help Ferrari tremendously. ..
Ferrari: Note that down, note that down.
@O K doesn't take off the fact that they continue to strive at the top after they left the team. Ferrari meanwhile.......
@O K I am sure there have been tremendous improvements since then.
Okay we are checking, keep your head down.
open book philosophy is one essential key of modern management and they live it at its best. It is built around trust, coming from the very top. The way the team presents itself shows that it is not about secrets and mistakes people want to hide, but about communication and enabling people to perform. Great work there.
These explanation videos are very welcome. It's also great to hear that the atmosphere between everyone is fun during "down time", but clearly very precise and calm when the needs arise. The amount of information that needs processing is mind-boggling!
What is the difference between the pit wall and the engineering station?
pitwall is the one across the pit lane
The pit wall is where our very most senior engineers are stationed during sessions (apart from Toto), and they're there so they can observe what else is going on around them, in the pit lane, and on the track. They're in constant contact with those at the engineering station, being relayed all of the relevant information.
@@MercedesAMGF1 Can you make video out of it?

You know u have a quick car when you let all the secrets out.... 😂😂😂
Winning is a habit they say, you have just shown the beauty of its adoption with discipline and repetition. Brilliant!!
Hey mercedes 🙆
You explain ever to your fans
Well that's great!❤️
🙏
Love these videos.
Thanks! 😊
Great insights. Please keep them coming! Thanks
How does the intercom work? How do you manage to not have multiple people talking at the same time to the same person?
I would just like to know if you can tell us step by step how you build your engine, asking for a friend.... 👀😂
Do you work for Racing Point? :P
@@colintucker3655 I think racing point already got that sorted😂 Sounds more like ferrari
Some Italian guy??
@@FARISEO25 Wait, do you know him too?
I'm loving these videos guys.
Keep up the great work.
Even the limited insight is so interesting!
Thank you Mercedes.
I have no idea where F1 will be right now without you guys. You are amazing .
Keep up the good work guys ! 👍🏾🙏🏾👌🏽🖤
The constant winning can make for slightly boring race days, but as long as you keep putting out GOLD like this on your channel, I won't complain! Another excellent video 😂👍
Epic job guys, never settle for 2nd, 1st place in everything.
Valtteri disliked that comment
It's a dream to me to be a part of Mercedes F1 team.❤
This was truly ****ing fantastic. Thanks for sharing. This is what we fans want to see!
Simon is also hilarious. Extremely well organized video👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Another incredible video, thank you, Mercedes.
I really like and appreciate the efforts u guys make to make us see what is behind the scenes and how u operate. U are the best!
You guys have the best social media! Super interesting! It keeps me motivated to keep studying Mechanical Engineering 😍🥰
keep doing this! really love it
You guys do such a big service for the sport, especially those who are just becoming interested. Thank you
Ah ....this team never fails to impress
Wow quite the detail!
Gosh you guys. Goosebumps. Have learned so much about Formula 1 from the best team. Keep them coming and the humour is top notch 👌🏾🤣
Watching F1 for last 22 years. Never missed a race live on TV or Internet. But first time learning something like this. Kudos my team.
That's way more interesting and informative than my online classes
I love this Chanel, entertaining and informative at the same time!❤️💕✨
Thank you so much!
Very appreciate your effort on making that subtitles.... please keep doing it...
This is Toto-lly organized in perfection.
Mercedes Benz AMG is already in F1 history, 🇧🇷
I love the "striking distance" part
thank you for these videos, they are very interesting
Thank you for always making the best team. Always work hard.
I am not a big F1 fan - just an auto/motorcycle enthusiast. But, these videos from Mercedes are amazing. I really enjoy the insights: the breadth is awesome. Thank you! I may need to start watching F1 more consistently.
Really amazing stuff gotta respect this team. All F1 teams in fact.
😊
Congratulations on winning the championship! 🎉
I seriously feel like a part of the whole team while watching these videos.
Please show us the pit stop jacks and the rest of the pit stop equipment. Love these videos
Love Mercedes! Y'all doing such a great job and love all your videos.
But what really always had me wondering with all this fancy equipment is how you pack them and move them across the calendar
Kool stuff! Thanks!
Love to know this kinds of details, thanks much the #Best Team in the grid proud to be supporting you.
Really interesting video, thanks. It's great that the best team on the grid is also the most open.
What a joy it would be to hear all the radio Comms for the team during a race👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
ngl Mercedes is also the best team when it comes to talking to fans and being close to them
ngl this comment is much appreciated
Ferrari: Write that down, write that down
Copy copy
Copy. We are looking. We are looking.
Thank you for sharing this
thank you for the information
Great work guys - keep it high level as always
Make a video how clutch works and starting of car.
That's pretty cool to use a live taskboard instead of comms in the garage. They mentioned they remote access to an infrastructure, has there been any issues with connection during weekends? And if so, what do you all have to do about it?
Wow … it seems so complicated… Amazing!! That is why F1 is an extremely interesting sport!! Excellent presentation! Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the insight
You're very welcome!
Great video! Suggestion for improvement: make this table from the same stuff you make halos from, will outlast generations of angry executives! :)
Lewis and Valteri are good with the cars this season, so your manufacturing department should have some spare cycles for it.
Awesome job guys there's no doubt that Mercedes is the best team of the grid.
Such openness is derived from confidence. Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team is the benchmark. Keep up the great work.
Hey Mercedes ! These videos are so interesting and insightful. Hands down this is the best You Tube channel. If possible would like to know what happens in the engineering station behind the pit boxes at the rear of the garage where a lot of engineers work on similar computer setup, but are not generally visible in TV feeds. Hope you consider the request. Thanks !!
Thank you!
NOW THAT'S WHY MECEDES AMG PETRONAS IS MY FAVOURITE F1 TEAM THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION SIMON COLE
Everyone else tryna keep secrets
Mercedes:Heres a playlist on how we do it..

6:51 _"...need them to be able to _*_feel_*_ like they are in a _*_reasonably safe environment."_*
You guys amazing
It is good that Mercedes provide such video for the fans. Does other team have something like this?
Superb!
Great Vid! Can we get a video on the process by which commands like boxing or sending the car out during quali make their way through the chain of command to the driver and pit crew?
Love the tech
Toto & his Hulk Smash moves I’m sure has gotten a good number of those tables destroyed.
Hi Simon, great tour, thanks much appreciated. Regarding the tyre engineering position, traditionally it’s alway been a “one person in charge” position, with the race principal, or today the race director. Why has this not changed to a tyre person per car, as it was noticeable during Mugella that both cars where reshod with the same tyres, when it appeared there was a slightly different strategy being cars, and 77 had different tyre choices on hand.
Simon's comment on no assault yet from Toto to either Bono or Riki is make my week
nice to see u added subtitules to this.
All the best guys. Stay Safe.
I’m gonna be there soon
So cool. Keep it up 👌🏾
Thank you 🙌
You guys are the best...
Never been so early.Love from Singapore ❤️❤️❤️❤️
"So, during the race 99% of the voice comms that you hear out on the radio are from Bono and Riki....."
The other 1% is "Valtteri, it's James"
I feel this is Mercedes' subtle way of giving out information to the other teams and try and level the playing field a bit. 😂 Jokes apart, very informative video!
Best wishes to Mercedes
I love mercerdes, so open :3
Please make a video on how we can get into F1 as engineers
Very interesting thank you
Wonder how much of this could be listened too as suggested by Mr Wolf
1:26 There are no reports of assault yet.. Savage..
Toto within Striking Distance of Bono in 1 Lap :)
