utilize the mines more if your going to do a single tower run, they give more HP and have a chance to repair between stages. you could have lasted longer with them for sure
Would have sold the mana syphons once you had the 6% sorcery and the cost per shot down to 2. And in fact upgraded the shield damage more. It is the thing that takes the tower the longest, so get it higher. Also: Place the tower further away if you can. The bleed/burn and poison damage will have more time to tick if things get out of range and in the end it doesn't matter if they got out of range closer or further from the tower if you don't have the DOTs. Obviously unlucky not to have gotten the poison. Again: Fun run.
If you want to add poison to a particular type of tower (such as the obelisk), you have to get the +1 damage to shields mod for it first. Same goes with burn and armor, and bleed and health. And I think that the higher the bonus (+2 or +3) the higher your chances of getting the status-on-hit mod. Also, targeting towers grant their bonuses to any hits to whatever they're targeting, so try setting a targeting tower up for hitting highest shields, then several more with "targeted" as their primary mode of...well, targeting. That way they all paint a bullseye on the same enemy. Then have your single offensive tower have "targeted" as its target. After all, several targeting towers are MUCH cheaper to boost to the same level than a your primary offensive tower.
a tip build the tower in the middle instead of in the corner of the box so you have longer time to fire, and also since you gett no money from balista income, spam haunted houses so you can afford to uppgrade. great video =)
you want to fast track the increased ranged that you can roll after you get the +3 to shield upgrade. With that and in a good center position on a +3. but there are other towers easier to do the solo tower with. The sawblade is simple. no mana required, just set it a bbit ahead and taget most health, and it will bleed everything dry
Something to consider is you could have extended the bottom left route first due to it being able to hit early game and maximise the enemies through that route (when it splits). Also trying to maximise the spreading of enemies that come in may [but not sure] be done by split ville
I think that delay before firing on next target what makes obelisk bad for single. Yes it can clear but if there loads of enemies some will go through.
I think next time you should allow ballistas only to keep them near houses for earning more gold, later levels they barely do damage anyways but atleast you will have plenty of money to upgrade alot
Just a small nitpick, your not holding shift when placing multiple towers, your not taking advantage of the death tolls, your map rng this attempt was not that good, you have ALL the upgrades and different towers increasing the difficulty of getting what you want to get. Go to your upgrades and reset, your xp saves and isnt reset.
ok i got around to reinstalling rouge tower and no my xp did not save but it game me prestige points so it seems for a challenge run just reset anyways and specifically build for one thing i guess and then hope for a tile set that loops around
so i guess im weird and i have never played this game but im still watching videos on it... but anyways why didnt you take life steal after round 12 you get 1% mana for every kill which having mana banks just increases your mps and the mana per kill.. or im just dumb...
You're good. I thought about it but I think it just returns one Mana per kill and it takes 2-5 per shot anyways so I didn't think it was worth it. I might be wrong though I'm still kinda new to it.

Mines and houses synergize, and spit out free gold every round. It's how you can hit better upgrades earlier as well.

i remember trying to do mortar but realize it wasnt that feasible also the grind to rest to just have motar upgrade vs everything else is brutal :/

I hated this game, the RNG is unforgiving, it ruins many of my runs when I get unlucky with the choices in towers or cards.
I know the cards are so unlucky sometimes!
For a challenge like this resetting the skill tree and only unlocking what you will use is better I think.
