I had used this on my car. Due to hot weather, the led fell off. Luckily inside the car. Now I need to figure out how to get it back on. Since the tape doesn't work out that well.

Okay first things first,
The adhesive tape falls off after about a week,
The magnet gets either kicked of by people getting in the car or just falls of.
You have to drill and screw to get the projector to stay on and then for the magnet you have to either glue it down with all weather glue or super strong tape and it looks pretty ugly,
you are putting it to close to where the passenger gets off.. you need to put it right at the end of the door, then passenger won't hit it.

The door sill doesn’t line up to where I place the projector on my g35 sedan so it didn’t work for me 😫
before sticking it, close the door to see it lines up, then only stick it
how long does it last before running out of power
3-4 months for me.. just takes 2 mins to put different batteries
I have them on my BMW. Keep a tube of superglue in the car as you will keep kicking them off your doors when getting out.

How do you apply this in cold weather? The tape wont stick. I brought gorilla tough and clear double sided mounting tape and it still won't stick to the car door.
Get real 3M or Scotch mounting tape if not working good in cold weather.. I am in warm weather and the original worked great

Can use rechargeable batteries. Light output isn't the greatest. But good alternative for not drilling holes in your panels
I bought these a couple years ago they are nice but batteries die to fast gota keep switching them
Use Duracell.. they will last for months

Brant Bankss yes you will need to change the batteries. I have them running for 2 months now.. still running good. It’s easy to change batteries.

@@brantbankss7651 I have just researched this in depth. This was the video I had been looking for because I just received these in the mail for my Tundra. However, there are 2 other types. One that you need to drill into the bottom of the door panel. No thank you. The other is available on Amazon for many different Makes and Models that you just pop off the OG door cover lens and replace it with the projection lens. I just spent $19 for 4 pieces. The reason why, is that while the 3 AAA batteries will last, I like that it can be done with the trucks power. Another reason is I constantly hit the door panel with my feet getting out in tight parking and would most likely end up kicking it off or losing the tiny magnet sensor.

when i open my door the light comes on. sometimes after a few seconds the light turns off then i have to close the door and open it and it comes back on.. new batteries. is yours doing the same thing?
