Very true Chapa. We have to blame the media first for promoting artist who mime, sing off pitch or gain publicity with their video clips although they cannot sing. I'm sure that more than 80% of the so called prabudhdha or popular artist in SriLanka have no ability to sing.
bang on point indrachapa, taste level of sri Lankan fans have degraded drastically. that's y all these so called pop videos comes out from every corner, throw some low-life chicks and street racing cars and put up a video. and they think they are musicians thereafter. same goes to teledramas as well. how and when will fans reject low quality entertainment industry in SL?
