It appears not to have a bulbous bow that most modern salties have. Most Fednav ships are registered under flags of convenience, meaning they have foreign crews and cannot carry cargoes between Canadian ports.
So Canadians can't build the ship, Canadians can't crew the ship, and it uses Canadian and American waters. So who is getting rich? Not Canadians, and not Americans. So who's in charge, eh? Gosh, I really appreciate your video, sir!
Looks like a crew member rejoining the ship. Likely got off at lock 1 have a visit then join after lock 8
We just saw this one go through the Soo Locks on Sunday morning 6/30/2024. We spent the weekend in Sault Saint Marie for Engineers Day.

all those round marks on the side of her hull are Tire marks.
why do ships on the Great Lakes frequently cycle water through their anchor chain locker?
I think it's fresh water that washes away mud and salt water, something like that.
To wash all the salt out!! Ha Ha Ha Lol..... I'm sure that's the case if they ever enter salt water though!
Pretty rough for brand new
It didn't take long for.the scuff marks
