Low SL invasions r always exciting - I really enjoy invading @ SL50 especially when u r able to kill a much higher SL;).It seems ur DkS evolution is almost complete - u have finally felt the joy of wraithing (not a d&*kwraith per se but a red with murderous intent) xD. Take a crack at invading the forest a few times - the brutality will definitely up ur game. Keep taking it to 'em!!

Polygoing HAHA. I can still remember when forest invasions no matter if I got ganked to oblivion started to become fun (addictive even??). I think most players use VIT/END SL50 builds (with minimum stats for weapon use) armed with elemental weapons.I'm sure there r some unique SL50 builds so you may want to experiment with mugen a bit. Also in regards to ur faith build - remember to use all of the tools at ur disposal - there is nothing wrong with have a chaos weapon as tertiary back-up when all else fails:).

I think Parish level for average casual player (like myself) is around 20-35. On my first walkthrough I couldn't defeat Taurus until level 38. Now in DSR they added weapon level matchmaking, so low level PvP build like SL30/WL5 seems legit for Parish and Depths (IMO +6/-5 level range in WL matchmaking is too big though). What is fairly possible to build on SL30 before the Gargoyles and Blighttown (without masterkey)? Boar helm or Black knight weapon up to +4, depending on luck starting set +6/+7 pyromancy up to target WL FaP, Havel, Wolf, Bellowing Dragoncrest and Evil Eye rings Grass Crest shield any normal weapon up to +10 or Raw+5 also you can buy poison and fire resin (and other stuff) and farm moss and green blossom As a result the character is not OP, but still has pretty good gear aboard, and is built fairly with no NG.
For this one I was rollin' on the PC with DSFix; 1920x1080 (to match my capture resolution) at 60fps, and I think I've got all of my texture settings to mid-range across the board. Thanks for checking things out!

Yikes, harsh lesson. I often feel a little pity for new players having to deal with all the overpowered gear and hackers and not really having context to understand what's happening. The first time I got invaded by a griefer I sat there staring at the screen for a few minutes wondering, "Whoa ... what the hell am I doing so terribly wrong?"
Lol - It sound's like Miyazaki ruined every other game for you too! I still play other game's.. But after awhile , low and behold , Dark Souls beckon's! I preordered this game. That's why Alot of us were Particuliarly baffled/annoyed at DkS2's tackiness. We've played awhile now. What's worse - Dark Souls recieved the Artorias of the Abyss DLC , and that-is-it!.. Mass Effect fan's,etc. , woulda flipped-out , but we get one-piece of DLC , and then the sleeping pill which is DkS2... 8(
keith mumma "Sleeping pill" is awesome and hilarious; I'm not _that_ sour on it, but it's definitely a far cry from the brilliance of DkS and DeS. I'm totally with ya on the beckoning, too ... I love how Souls games can be either quickies or extended marathon session. "I've got all of Saturday to burn; Souls it!" ... or ... "I've got about 20 minutes before I have to [fill in the blank]; let's see if I can get some quick invasions." The longevity is just plain amazing, even with a single piece of DLC. Thanks, man!

I invade way more than duel and the Parish has become synonymous with twinked out red phantoms for me. Its probably the only time I ever really get annoyed at Dark Souls simply for the fact that over something like a black Friday sale you have these new people coming in, getting one shot by some dick with a Furysword and denouncing the online in the game. Its upsetting and also the reason I went 3 playthroughs on the PS3 offline. I hope they fix that in DkS II, though I don't know what they would do, I guess that's just Souls games. How the fuck do you keep getting these hilarious hackers, I haven't found a single hacker that was funny, all I've seen just guys flip rolling in full havels with a crystal greatsword, its so upsetting lol On a happier topic, its so nostalgic seeing these guys in full chainmail with their shields up R1 spamming lol I miss when things were new and I sucked. I love Dark Souls but christ, am i ever burned out. Lookin forward to your other stuff.

I literatly just made a lvl 30 noob smasher build i uses a +1 chaos Zweihander until i max,it out im lvling to 130 and going to the olacile township to rek some scrub nubs

u should try anor londo invasions with lvl 40 or less darkwraith. fun spot to invade and very frequent invasion rate there.

Solaire drops everything if you kill him early game. He isn't too hard to either if you can parry. I was hurt more by the fact I killed Solaire. :(
Yea killing solaire at the ledge with his sunlight babbling does cause him to drop his armor
