- HIYA! Here are the two "Bois de merveilles" plays by MALICE MIZER, during their Pays de merveilles ～空白の瞬間の中で～ tour! It contains the plays of 20&21 July at 赤坂BLITZ, 10 October at 華麗なる復活劇 and 11 October at 空白の瞬間の扉 lives (all 1997), all combined into one video. This was released as two seperate parts on the "MALICE MIZER sur TV" DVD, released in the limited edition merveilles box set in 2006. At the end of each play, "Bois de merveilles" is sung by GACKT.
This sunday, the 12th, was my TH-cam channel's exact 10th anniversary. I really wanted to upload this on that date, but my computer had a problem that it couldn't open MP4 files without the file explorer crashing, after a Windows update.... I don't know how but it's fixed now. I'm also working on something much better, with me playing music, that will count as my true 10th anniversary special, but it's not done yet.

Cantavanda never seen this one, I know there has to be cut footage from some concerts that do exist in the full physical copies.
So much of their symbolism is lost to most people, for many years myself included. They truly represent how this entire realm is inverted and MALICIOUS. Even Mana's blue (male inverted to female) and Közi's red (female inverted to male) represents the illusion placed over humanity. It's all about the duality of the experience of this place. The song 麗しき仮面の招待状 (Uruwashiki Kamen no Shoutaijou, Masquerade's Beautiful Invitation) comes to mind.
So, if I'm to interpret this correctly...this band actually did a full-length avant-garde theatrical piece during their tour? I was already aware that they'd made two feature films, but theater as well? I'm honestly fascinated by this.

Hello! They were never released outside of these live clips, so the titles are unknown, if there are any. Only the sung "Bois de merveilles" got released on their "merveilles" album.
