Today Hikaru asked me to clean his car for him and so I spent the whole morning doing it. After sometime, I went back inside and Hikaru asked me how was the car looking. "Kramnik" I just replied. He just smiled and nodded. He knew that it was washed
Ok slave
You mean wasted
Fake news. Hikaru would never get that joke.

I just watched this video and won 14 games in a row in the pool. To be fair I only got this opening in 9 of them, but it's incredible. AND THE ENGINE APPROVES!! Amazing chessbrah, you have outdone yourselves!!
go Tim
Lol at my elo no one plays 3. Knf6 anymore everyone goes bc5 immediately
After Ng5 Nd4 Bxf7 Kf8 it is -2 and completely lost for white so no, the engine does not approve
Support these guys
The engine absolutely does not approve, this opening is dead lost against a prepared opponent lmao. But since this is brand new people won’t be prepared for it yet at any level so enjoy it while you can
Love this opening! I've won every game I've played with it except for one where my opponent played 5.Nd4, luckily they were immediately closed for fairplay and my points were refunded!
Goooo fish!
2:25 - should have said "we follow up with Queen C-fork '
I watched this at around 1am as I was going to sleep, looked like loads of fun so figured I’d fire up a couple of games real quick and give it a try! 28 games later and I hadn’t even gotten 1. e4 e5, much less the Fried Liver. Literally have never played so many Scandinavians, English openings, Sicilians, and Moderns in my life. Now it’s 4am and I have to leave for work in three hours - I know he seems friendly and helpful, but trust me when I say this Eamonn character is not looking out for your best interests. Do not - under any circumstances whatsoever - support these guys.
Eamonn O’Haghmeltin is a known scumbag on the chess scene.
Not always gonna get e5 when playing e4 my dude😅
Supporting these guys you must not
yeah, but after Ng5 there is Nd4 from black it is SO lost... i like that i can trick players with that opening but when they find Nd4 there is just nothing good for white, no attack or anything. Could you cover at least some complicated lines where white is down material but has some attacking potential so it is kinda available for blitz? or it's just lost and okay for hyperbullet/bullet only.
your 2500 opp just was not ready that he could have a winning position against 2700+ rated player so early in the game and he wasn't looking for Nd4. But yeah, great trap otherwise. I would another video on this topic!
There is a game from 2000 in the master database on lichess, black did not find ...Nd4, he played ...d5 and ended losing with the king on e6, following the line Aman showed!
Finally got this opening in a game, 100% win rate so far, support these guys!
Hey Aman! Sometimes I take my opponents central pawns but I am used to playing same opening ideas so I feel like I cannot exploit that weakness enough. Can you show some attack ideas in such cases? It would also be nice to see how we can exploit let say dark squares with our dark bishop when we get opponents bishop but we keep ours. I am seeing similar positions in your videos where you don't even exchange the bishop for a rook and have a great advantage all game due to that bishop. If there were a couple of matches that focuses on these differently than Fianchetto as it only focuses on when our opponents squares weaken, it would be easier for me to remember these attach ideas during the game. Best idea I can have during the games is to block my opponents pawns in front of the king and try to cripple their position a little bit before I can start an attack but it still take some effort to win the game.
The Sicilian defense has helped me forget all of this 😂
Really cool opening! I looked at the line where after 5.Ng5, black plays 5...Nd4. The lines are completely, completely absurd. One of them involves black developing their rook to h4 which is insane.
Great video aman, immediately trying this out
Too hooked on f4 after the bird series... but this might convince me back to e4!
Amazing. I've been playing the fried liver for a long time and this definitely breathes new life into it
It doesnt, just play the fried liver, engine hates this
@vertexblue engine hates the French defense too. Relax and have a little fun in life bud. It's not about playing engine prefect
@@crazytrain86No it doesn't
@Zack-tz7by dang bud, with solid argument skills like that it's a surprise you're not a lawyer 😂
@@crazytrain86 how does the engine hate the french defense? I'm extremely confused
0:35
no, it isn't.
you are banned.

I just won in 7 moves. As in my opponent resigned after the Queen check which never happens when I watch videos like these. How silly and fun. Thanks GM Aman :)
This opening should be called the Fried Aman.
if tim says it works then it does
YEP
As a lifelong traxler player vs the fried liver I haven't run into this yet that I can remember. Thanks for posting this now I know that if they play this 5 Nd4 is correct and black has a advantage. I would not see that over the board.
What if Black, instead of pushing his bishop out, sees Fried Liver coming and plays pawn h6 to block Knight g5? That's what Queen e2 gives him time to do.
h6 is passive and doesn't hurt white at all or help black either. It avoids Ng5 but it was never a threat of black responds correctly.
This is a nice opening! Thanks avocado-Aman ❤
Aman is going to Stockholm, Sweden, to deliver a speech upon being the recipient for the Nobel Prize in Chess! Congratulations Aman!
Got like 5 wins with this in 3 days! Thank you for adding a second trap in this line!
Seems weird to hear 'sacrifice the exchange, but you've got good compensation for it'. Wasn't sure if this was another Jerome.
Finding the engine refutation is nearly impossible for this line it looks very nice for fast games.
Brahs needs to learn the refutation for this to not get memes on lol
i really like the fresh cut Aman. Lookin good sir!
Great video by a great chess talent. I wouldn't be nearly as far on my chess journey without these guys! #HabitsBrah
Aman you're a fucking genius. Of course it worked 1st time trying and I knew it would. There's no better feeling in chess than winning with the dirties bs opening trick possible and this opening is just that. Now this video better not get too many views cause this is my fucking opening from now on
It works, it just does.
How about a series on this opening?
I never knew Qe2 was a legitimate move in the two knights defense. I’d personally call it the Bellisimo Attack, but that’s just me. Thank you for creating this video and opening my eyes to Qe2
What if after knight G5, instead of castling or playing D5, they play knight D4 right away and hit the queen?
Crazy oppening thanks the bros
So can you play this variation in the giouco piano line that goes bishop C5 and then knight f6 seems like it would transpose but perhaps I’m missing something?
Ope my bad. Commenting before I finished the video. Yikes
King on e6 at move 10.....noice 💪
Nice little opening to try against fellow 1100's 😀
You'll smash.
1/1 as a 2k rapid, my oponent resigned after move 10
Could we play a few rapid games and you briefly tell me what’s keeping me at 1300?
instead of f4 could you go c3?
Now do a speed run!
at 4:39 Nb4 seems like a better move for black.
Aman basically begged me to comment on this video so here I am doing him a favor. I like the chess moves but I don't like fried liver. It's nasty. Also, the videos were better when he had purple hair and a beard.
It's tricky for a blitz, but even in rapid, your opponent is likely to find 5. ... Nd4, followed by 6 ..... d5, Bg4 and so on, and White is much worse.
Except that statistically, they're not likely : )
The secret trap
I’ve been punished with this before in bullet
The Canadian Bacon Gambit
Thank you!
Not convinced because I do not have your talent to turn a deficient position into a victory.
I just tried that and won. Thanks Aman!
Omg they folowed the exact same moves first game ez af lmfao
I never played 1.e4... until I saw this video.
good opening
This is great!
There is no "Canadian" chess opening that I am aware of. Can we at least call this the "Canadian Fried Liver Attack" ?
There is the Canadian defense. Aman probably has old videos with it. just not in the titles so hard to find
I’m usually met by D5 pretty early.
gr8 trap
This is the best!
Nice haircut brah
Incredible win rate against people who don't know this. Unreal.
I don't understand, at 6:00, why can't black block with the queen?
They can, but you just trade queens and you'll be 2 pawns up and white should win easily.
Exactly. I noticed the same thing.
Fried Liver: Aman Variation
This might get me to switch to e4
if you didn't play e4 all this time then you wasted your life.
@@jotarokujo5132 I like c4
they let em cook, and they served a spicy new rendition to the fried liver trite. love to see it, GOOOOO BRAHS
Ng5 is technically not the Fried Liver....
First victim collected (2150 lichess). Now after this video if I were to play e4 e5 again I have to know the refutation for this so I don’t get trolled hehe
My favorite homeless man cooking the fried liver🎉🎉
Love ittt
Have you done a video on the Traxler used against the Fried Liver?
!boost
Go aman
I won a game!
would be nice if you covered what to do after 5. Ng5 Nd4, which lichess shows as -1.4 for Black
I think it's a trap for under 1500 elo. Nd4 is crushing and somewhat obvious.
Hes played it against like 10 2700+ players so far and nobody has played nd4 yet, more obvious to you than them@@FelixIsLosing
@@FelixIsLosingit clearly worked on a 2500...
Is it obvious? Out of 19000 high-level lichess games, only 5% of players found Nd4. And in the single over-the-board game in the database, the 2200-level opponent didn't find Nd4. Also the lines after Nd4 are quite complicated still.
@@FT029 I would say 5...Nd4 is a pretty obvious move to at least consider. You attack the queen an threaten Nxc2.
oppnent could just play the simple pawn to h6 or pawn to f6 before moving knight to f6 and then you end up playing the italian.
this is a certified 500 elo comment
@@ParisDorn159 It's funny how they always seem to think they know what they're talking about isn't it?
This is disgusting... yet beautiful!
Is this theory?
It is now!
its been around for a while. after knight g5 black just goes knight d4 and its already -1.
How to respond to 5. Kd4 ?
I need an opening in case I can’t play taimanov
thank god I'm a sicilian player
nice !!!!
I don't like it, black can push H6 instead of playing bishop C5 and the fried liver attack will be lost.
All opening traps require the opponent’s cooperation to some extent.
I don't like the sicilian because white can play d4 and avoid it
Why can't black just sac his bishop on the f2 pawn with check after Nxf7?
Aman has solved chess
how to lose in 5 moves
try to play it with black...people wont know, whats coming...
A lot of Black players play h6 to discourage anything like Fried Liver.
Cool video. Technically this wouldn't be called the Fried Liver. The Fried Liver is 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 Nxd5 6. Nxf7
This video is _not_ covering the Fried Liver Attack.
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 (Italian Game) …Nf6 (Two-Knights-Defense)
4.Ng5 d5 (Prussian Game)
5.exd5 Nxd5?
Now White has two winning options:
a) 6.d4 (Lolli Attack, safe and best)
b) 6.Nxf7 (Fegatello Attack / Fried Liver Attack, fun and risky). Anything before or else is _not_ the Fried Liver.
Sorry for being boring, but the term ‘Fried Liver’ is too often used as a clickbait, when the content is not in fact covering the opening.
