How did the Genesis get a 5 Star rating?

I was quite surprised to see the entire body of the Genesis start collapsing from the back at the wheel wells. The Tesla has an amazing body rigidity from the power packs particularly seen in the side impact of the pole test. Range rover is at the bottom of the pile in reliability, actually abysmal, but it really did seem to stand up well to these crashes. Mercedes and BMWs have stronger cages around passengers. The new tests use an elevated crash car that has a corresponding increased heights to match pick up trucks and the large SUV segment. Thus reflecting real world collisions. These test did not use the elevated crash test car. Excepting the Tesla, all sedans now fail side impact tests at the heightened level. To compensate, Audi A8 And BMW 7 series have sensors that detect side impacts and thus immediately raise the impact side with the cars air suspension.

Everyone praises Tesla, but on the streets of Los Angeles every day I see Teslas getting into accidents. I saw several times that people died in a Tesla accident. Why hasn't anyone died in an accident in a Volvo? Maybe the point is not how the car breaks down in an accident, but how the car saves life?
