Solo rock fishing session chasing black drummer
I didn’t bring enough burley and while rigging up I realised I forgot to bring the bait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF was I going to do! Luckily I spotted some cabbage 🥬 and it was low tide, so I quickly grabbed a handful while watching the waves.
Drummer can best be described as hooking a moving snag. It’s been 2 years since I’ve targeted drummer and I’ve forgotten how hard these guys pull. Both hookups were sloppy and if anyone was watching they would have thought it was my first time ever chasing drummer. The net job was just as bad with waves smashing left and right, it was difficult to manage the 6m net pole when it was fully extended.

Why does your handle on your reel go backwards when it takes line ? Nice fish 👍

It's a level brake drag reel, specifically designed for ISO fishing. You engage the lever when a fish is on and use it to control the line you want released.
